2003 Chevrolet Tahoe LT Review
ProsI adore my Tahoe from the way it looks to its great performance and reliability. I brought my daughter home from the hospital in this car so it will be difficult to part with it, but I just need something more compact. The gas mileage is even great considering the size of the vehicle, and the turning radius was actually what sold me because it is so incredibly easy to maneuver even in and out of tight spaces. The comfort and safety of this car has made longer road trips a lot more tolerable, and the cargo space has allowed our family to not have to scrimp on what we pack for vacation! ConsThe only con is that, because of its size, I don't let a whole lot of people drive it if they're unexperienced in navigating a large SUV. It does not have a 3rd row seat or 4 WD, but I was more interested in the cargo space than the 3rd row seat. I would not need 4WD because I simply do not drive in conditions that would require the use of that feature.

My Tahoe Has Been The Most Reliable, Powerful, And Spacious Vehicle I Have Ever Owned. — I love how it accelerates quickly because of its powerful V8 Vortex engine. I love how it can also stop on a dime when necessary. Travel has been a pleasure because of the overall great vehicle that this Tahoe has been and still continues to be, but it's time for a change and time to downsize as our family's needs have changed in the past few years. Primary Use: Family transportation

Loved The Drive — needed to have sencor in 4wd replaced other than that a very good reliable bowtie. gas mileage is really good for a sport utility vehicle. I loved the zero - 60 acceleration time of 4 seconds or less and very smooth drive Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsLiked the looks of the vehicle and the window tint helped with the sun. It is a sturdy, good sized vehicle but not too bulky ConsWould have loved more gas mileage but then who doesn't! AND a lighter color. I know typical girl huh.

This Was A Decent Vehicle And Came With Added Options That Were Useful — Mentioned above But there was some getting used to the blind spots in the vehicle but practice made perfect. easy maintenance as long as you keep up on it. Always have to take car or your ride, right? Good handling Primary Use: Commuting to work

Tahoe — Performance was alright.. I owned the 5.3 liter V8 model so it was quite fast for a heavy car. It was also lifted with a ranch hand brush guard. (live in texas) Build quality.. well it had its moments.. had to replace the air-condition compressor.. other then that nothing els. The car chugged gas.. not as much as the H2 but thats another story. Fun factor- I mean it was a heavy car so it handled as such. a Primary Use: Commuting to work

Solid Truck — Fun to drive, spacious, feels very safe. Great for towing or moving large items, great for pets. Expensive but worth the comfort. Slow but a chip and exhaust could help that. Very fun to drive and spend time in. Would take everywhere if it weren't for the gas mileage. Primary Use: Commuting to work

03 Tahoe Ls~white — I loved my Tahoe when I had it. Plenty of room. Def. a gas hog though, but great on road trips. Had 0% financing, was a great incentive to purchase. Never had to worry about space for car seats, groceries, people etc, when helping out friends of family on errands.

Tahoe — The Tahoe have a lovely preformance, poweful, feels like you own the road while driving because of the veihcle's height, some time hard to find parking for (where you have to jump over the pavement), preferably must be new or maintain always to keep in good shape and condition and for best performance

I Love My Tahoe! — I've had the Tahoe (his name is Sebastian) a little over 2 years now and I absolutely LOVE it! The handling is great, it has plenty of power and surprisingly enough the gas mileage is not that bad at all. I can generally get 8 to 10 days out of a tank. When i bought it, it had just over 86,000 miles on it. It now has 140,000 and I plan to keep on drivin it till the wheels fall off! My favorite things about it are the BOSE stereo and the heated seats. I would definitely recommend a Tahoe to anyone in the market for a bigger SUV! |
