Awesome Truck — Awesome truck, never left me stranded, decent on gas, easy to work on, tough to destroy, awesome highway mileage, ive owned it for 6 years now and put over 112000 miles on it and it still runs like now. Its the last year for the ext cab body style.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Awesome — gas mileage suffers when bagged but goes when you need it to, bought at 100k 50k later no repairs needed, appearance has been customised to fit me ss bumper, ehaust, roll pan, 2500 watt rms stereo with full fiberglass box

2003 S10 Zq8 — solid built truck, great on gas. only thing it fails on is getting around in snow. even with 300lbs of sand in the bed i still got stuck on CAMPBELL STREET.... this year it'll be getting snow tires if i don't DD the t/a in the winter..

Average — the transmission sucks............ everything else is pretty good. Solid engine with the 4.3. cant go wrong with a big v6. Interior is very comfortable and is somewhat decent to take a road trip in. Dont go off roading with it

My Truck — Good truck, fun on and off road. Perfect drifting truck when its wet or snowy outside, handles loads well, great party truck, the 4.3L does need some more power and torque, all in all awesome truck that ive had fur 5+ years now.

Pros

great off road... good power

Cons

sluggish on acceleration

My Zr2 — one of a kind.....needs more power and a little bit more style. could benifit from some kind of power adder.... maybe a gearing upgrade. definatly needs nicer wheels rather than the soccer ball wheels. could also use a cool paint job

looks, ride quality radio

Cons

gas guzzler, too weak for the mileage.

Like A Rock — This truck definately takes a beating and comes back for more. It just drinks from too many straws for the amount of power it puts out. I wouldn't have gotten the lift if I didn't need to replace all 4 shocks. That was a bummer. The idlers arms needed replacing too at 75,000 mi.

Pros

Almost everything

Cons

Plastic parts that break in the cold, parts that can get expensive

Good Little Truck — My truck is the best, for a V6 it has the power that i need for that get up and good, without spending a fortune in gas. I find the S-10 and the GMC sonoma's to be good looking little trucks. They come in a varity of styles for everyone. Maintance is simple with these trucks, but at times can get expensive (depending ont he part). I have had tons on fun with these trucks, I find they are fun in and out of the mud. The only con I have for these trucks are the plastic parts that sometimes rattle and squeak at times, especially here in the north where we get some cold weather.

very reliable and good mpg

Cons

small exhaust problems occasionally

Mr. Reliable — This is my daily driver and its really reliable and that is all I ask from it. It does a pretty good job on gas, right around 28 mpg. I need to drive back and forth to Ohio State every couple weeks and I can always depend on the S-10 to make the 300 mile round trip without problems

Pros

Great to drive

Cons

Cost a lot to drive

Bumble X — This was a great looking truck. After spending about $10,000 on extra parts it was a good looking fast moving low rider truck. It had the 4.3 v6 that was alright but really lacked power going from 40 to 60+. This truck was truly a one of a kind truck. I added a aftermarket radio system and performance chip. This truck gets between 20 and 24 mpg in the city and 28 to 31 on the highway when you drive it correctly.
