Pros

great driving car, slick manual transmission, dealer service, 4 doors, trunkspace.

Cons

Confusing controls, weird orange display lighting, need manual to set clock, horrible in snow w/all season tires, lots of bugs in 1st year-dealer fixed all.

Modern, Fun, "american Bmw". — Great driving car, we had the 5 speed manual, which was hard to find. The cts is easy to live with, and dependable. Sporty handling, great sound and dual climate systems. The traction control, along with tight suspension, made twisty roads desirable. The engine is powerful runs on regular, with just the right amount of growl entering the quiet cabin. Nicely contoured leather seats w/2 tone inserts look sharp. Real wood on chunky steering wheel is nice touch, accenting attractive roomy cabin. Heated seats in front and thick carpet give a pampered feel. Tires wear fast with spirited driving, and brake dust coats wheels quickly and is tedious to remove from alloy wheels. Pull up door handles break ladies fingernails, a minor thing. Neon 3rd brake light broke repeatedly cost $600 to replace. Condensation from A/C flooded car 1st trip to FL, dealer provided loaner, repaired A/C replaced carpet, an example of new model bugs to follow. Not a user friendly car to work on with baffles and covers galore-had to visit dealer to replace fog light bulb for example. Overall a great car with a european feel, we had full options except HID headlamps. Replaced it with the 08 redesign and hated it, not as comfortable as the original. Too bad.

Great Solid Car!! Love This Car!!!! Hope It Dosn't Break Down. — I love this car!! It is a very solid car that needs few repai rs but, when it does it is expensive. I hate how the breakes leave dust on the rim. I guess it is because of the porcelain breakes. I recently had a problem with it not starting every 7 th time or so. Thought it would be about 1,5000 because that is the usual cost. Turned out to be a crank sensor. $ 28 dollor part, 136.00 to plug in and 125.00 in labor. Not too bad.

Really nice looking

Cons

Just had front brakes & rotors changed at 71,000km - not good. Third brake light is over $1,000 to fix - will never happen.

Cadillac Cts — It is crude and querky like me! A lot of fun to drive. I have had no problems. Mileage is suprisingly good. It has all the options except navigation. Very low mileage - just passed emission test with flying colours! The third brake light is LED and only the dealer can fix it.

Great Car — The car has been great so far but I am having a problem with the traction control coming on all of a sudden while I am driving. Also the third tail light is out but I was able to modify it and install a set of neon lights in the back to make it work.

Pros

Its beautiful and has a lot of little gagets and fun extras.

Cons

Too high tech. They should've kept it simple, stupid.

Gorgeous! — I love love love this car. The only problem I've ever really had with it is that if something goes wrong with it computer wise, it really sucks. One little thing can totally screw you. Everything seems so high tech, which means expensive to fix. And hardly any mechanic in Iowa knows how to work on one!

Mob Moblie — It's the first year for the CTS still looks good, handles good a few electric issues also did not hold it's value to good but it's all mine and paid for but you can't beat the overall handling and spunk

poor reliability, expensive repairs, no lumbar support in seats

Looks Good But May Leave You Stranded — This car has been very unreliable and very expensive to maintain and repair. Oil cooler failed 62650 miles, repair cost $1230. Crankshaft position sensor failed 67430 miles, repair cost $400 + towing. Replaced thermostat and timing belt, repair cost $780. The front seats have no lumbar support which make long trips uncomfortable. Headlights (std not HID) are great.
