Fun to drive!  Great power.  Great value for the dollar.

Cons

Eventually rode rough on the road- Too 'go-carty' where you would feel every little bump in the road.

Fun, Great Value Care For Any Commuter Without A Need For Much Space — Awesome car that is a great value for the dollar. Fun to drive, and fun to burn past other comparable-sized sedans. Very go-cart like ride. The fuel economy is good on a manual transmission and you can definitely get 22 mpg city even when driving fairly aggressive.

Pros

I love it's acceleration, the sound of the Nismo Cold Air Intake, the exhaust tone through the stainless muffler, and the exterior/interior styling.

Cons

Bought this particular Spec V knowing it was branded a lemon, and found out why 1-2 months after buying.  One of the two crankshaft thrust washers had fallen out not long after vehicle was assembled and I had to replace the engine due to the damage that was done to the block.  This is 1 out of 2 big problems I've had with the car.  The 2nd problem was the clear coat decided to come off almost the whole car resulting in a new paint job.

My First Exciting Daily Driver — I looked at purchasing a Spec V for quite a while before finding this one. I hadn't even driven one before checking out this car. I was mostly wanting it for it's exterior/interior styling. After driving I found I had to have it, for the right price. After owning it for several years this is what I think. I love how well it handles, the power considering it's a 4 cylinder, and shifting it's 6 speed transmission. Not sure how fast it actually is, but it feels fast. I always get 27-29 MPG, which is very good. The suspension is tight, you do feel every bump in the road. The back seat is rough riding, but luckily I am usually driving. It has cost me a chunk of cash in repairs, but it wasn't perfect when I purchased it in 2008.

Handling

Cons

Its still a sentra

Nissan Sentra Se-r Specification Victory — Enough get up and go to be fun, handling is awesome even with stock spec-v suspension, braking is average. Build quality is decent with above average interior compared to most domestics. Has some rattles and squeaks but its a sentra for god sakes. The spec-v body kit type thing in the front makes the car look 100 times better than the regular sentra. The red seats for the 02 spec-v model is a nice racy touch to the interior. Maintenance is above average and so is gas mileage. Car is very fun to drive especially in the corners.

Cool Car! — This car has excellent power and (mainly) torque for a naturally aspirated 4cyl engine, handles pretty well (despite some torque steer) and the braking is good. And it's roomy for a compact. Compared to its competitors is a fun car that will make you smile when you drive it...

The looks, and the torque.

Cons

if you don't lower the spec v and install a lower tie bar in the rear, car power slide a lot at high speed, but if you install those two, car is good to go.

Torquee Car — i love the car! here in colorado is kind of hard seeing one around, so i like the fact that is unique car to see in the streets. Planning on doing more mods to it in the future, im just saving a little more money to buy an xterra and start the project on my spec v.

The five speed transmission

Cons

The appearance, performance, quality

First And Only Time Having This Car — Primarily it is a fuel efficient car that has too much torque with the manual transmission, the only reason my five speed is quick is that is has so much torque. I do not enjoy driving in the rain the wheels spin constantly. it is a quick fun car but really just a cheaply priced second hand prius.

Great Commuter Car — The car handles good and is really good on gas but its geared a little low but i guess thats because its a little car. The car is fun to drive and the car looks a little sporty. A good thing about this car is that they make a lot of aftermarket parts for it.
