Amazing In Any Envirnoment — Great to drive when its nice and when its not. Many upgrades for the vehicle and one of the most capable off-road vehicles you will ever be able to own. The cost is cheap and they are easy to repair

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Good all around 4 season utility vehicle, enormous potential for customization.

Cons

Light weight and short wheelbase means extra driving care needed to maintain traction in slippery road conditions, mileage could be better, not really suited to long trips.

Great All Around Utility Vehicle, Fun To Own And Drive. — Tough and reliable. Not a beauty contest winner but a great all season commuter that can play off road, too.

Once You Own One You'll Always Have One! — Mine has a 4.0 liter 6 cylinder with a cold-air intake and dynamax exhaust system. So, she has plenty of power! Seating is good for 4 or less people. Jeeps are built very tuff and the only down fall would be the stock roll cage needs to be beefed up. The appearance of the Wrangler has not changed much through-out the years and has always had an iconic look! I can get up to 24 miles to the gallon if I watch how I drive and this is my second Jeep and they both have extremely reliable! There is nothing better then a 4 wheel drive convertible...fun in the sun and with all the aftermarket items available, fun can be had almost (and has) anywhere on the plant. Fun fact about Jeep: Jeeps have 7 bars in their grille because the Jeep in the only vehicle that has been on all 7 continents.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

I Love This Car — Performance is good. It is a 6cyl so it has plenty of power. I have it customized so it does need to have repairs because the stock features cant handle the big tires. I love the look of this car with no roof and doors in the summer time. The gas milage is horrible and this car is so much fun to drive

I'll Take 2! — Performance - 5/10 4.0L will break stand with Large tires Build Quality - 7.5/10 It's a Chrysler say no more Appearance - 8/10 It's a Jeep thing, You wouldn't understand! Cost - 450km per tank with 33" tires...Not too Bad. Only had problems with the aftermarket crap I put on. Fun Factor - 10/10 Tows trailers well, parking is easy, Roof and doors come off, 4x4 works awesome (tested throughly), Fuel economy is better than most SUVs I would buy another one, but this time I wouldn't go crazy on the Mods. They are great stock. Suggestion - Get the Rubicon/Apex/Unlimited Edition

Fun, inexpensive, reliable, and badass.

Cons

Not so great MPG. Not the fastest vehicle on the block.

2002 Jeep Wrangler Tj — I wouldn't want to drive another car or truck right now. A lot of fun, and can take quite the beating. Looks good, and is a breeze to maintain. Cant beat an offroading convertible. Accelerates a tad bit slow though.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

If I Have To Explain You Wouldn't Understand — Performance - good all around, great for off-roading Appearance - clean lines Build quality - is very good, nothing broken cost - reasonable fun factor - high, anywhere it goes it makes it fun, able to change tops for different looks, bigger tires help for off- road, good mud tire also helps, Lift - none at the moment, maybe a 2" in the near future

A convertible with a low-range 4x4 gearbox? Awesome!

Cons

The engine. Power = naught!

Fun, Practical 4x4 — For me, the Jeep Wrangler (TJ, in Canada) was the perfect vehicle. A cool, sporty convertible in the summer, and a tough 4x4 for Montreal's rough winters. I had it for 4 years and had a blast the whole time. However, I had the 2.5L, 4 cyl, engine, which had 0 power.
