2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition 4WD Review
ProsThis vehicle has a lot of luxuries that I have never had on another vehicle. ConsThe mpg for this vehicle makes it a little more expensive to drive due to the all-time 4 wheel drive and V8, but that's to be expected with a larger engine/vehicle.

Great Luxury Ride — Overall, I found this vehicle enjoyable, safe and dependable to drive. There was plenty of space for the all demands of my job, running a business and being a mom. I would recommend this vehicle to other moms looking for a vehicle that does it all. Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsThe handling is amazing as well as the acceleration. ConsThe fuel economy is terrible and the rear passenger doors do not open from the inside.

Cassy — This car is very good at handling dips or bumps in the road. It has unbelievably good traction and acceleration. The gas milage has yet to find a way to increase in efficiency and the sunroof needs to be fixed. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsGreat handling and power. ConsNothing

Great Suv For Anyone! — Great vehicle for a new driver and it's no sissy either. The Jeep can handle itself well on and off the road and it is currently stock. The car has a timeless look and is yet to appear dated on the road. I still get people checking it out when I'm driving. Primary Use: Commuting to work

02 Jgc — I love my Jeep! I have the 4.7 H.O in this 2002 JGC which gives alot more power then other WJ's. I actually just need a few mods done to it to give it 30 more hp to match up to the new redesigned 2010 4.7. I think that this JGC has comfier seats then the bran new JGC. Not to mention better steering. Everyone says the new jeeps have tighter steering. Lets all keep in mind this is a Jeep and its not meant to be a highway warrior but a off road warrior. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsThe memories lol, styling, comfort Consengine problems at 68K

The Original Jeep — I obviously missed it hence the reincarnation in 2006 - pretty much identical as in customization and colors and such. Had more memories than any other car. The stuff that this thing took. I can go on and on about what I remember about this car. I absolutely loved it though. It actually held up pretty good for the beatings it took. Didn't really have all that many issues with it. Travelled the US and Canada with it. This thing was driven everywhere. So comfortable. Was the Special Edition but just the V6 but it wasn't slow or anything. I actually had the door handles, moldings, mirrors, etc... all painted to match.. diff than any other. The truck was beautiful at the time. I flipped it but into snow but it was OK but we won't go into that.

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD Review
ProsGood leg room, highway noise levels are good, 4WD is excellent, very hard to get it stuck. ConsNeeds bigger brakes, heating A/C system not the best, seats need to be made out of better material. Fuel mileage is not that good.

I Would Buy Another One. — Overall a very clean straight forward Jeep, nothing too fancy other than the Quadra drive 4 wheel drive system, it will require a little more maintenance than the normal 4X4 but I really like it. I think the biggest problem is the brakes, they are OK for offroading but at freeway speeds they need more braking surface.

Love My Jeep — Love my Jeep. Great in the sand, mud, woods, trails, anything that comes its way! Very nice limited edition package has everything plus more to offer. Lots of power with the 4.7 Liter Powertech engine that gets not to shabby mileage. Not my first Jeep nor will it be the last. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Eeep — Well, I drove this allot for its mileage ( my other gets 12mpg highway) and well in the winter I found out you can't have to much fun in these, they get stuck very easily. Has the bulletproof 4.0 which is a great engine, and the trans is alright. I love the fulltime 4wd which is just like my other jeeps. Primary Use: Family transportation |
