Pros

Good gas mileage, hasnt needed any major repairs, and its a sport.

Cons

It doesnt have a personality yet.

Its A Sport!!! — I have driven Taruses all of my life for a daily drivers. They never need any work, on my old one I only needed to put in about $700 in major repairs in about 10 years that I owned it. And this one has never let me down, so I love it. And not to mention that it is a really comfortable car.

Pros

It got good milage before I started running the crap out of it

Cons

If you can think of anything about a car, in this case it's probably bad

Why Detroit Is In Trouble — I did not know it was possible to build such a steaming turd. Highly unreliable, and unable to be repaired by the home mechanic. It can't get out of it's own way and won't go in the snow. I've had to replace the steering rack at under 70K and can't fix the brakes myself. I hate this car.

Pros

It has an engine

Cons

Poor build quality, it's a ford.

Ford's Are Usually Not Worth Your Time, And This Is Also The Case For My Car. — My ford taurus is pretty much worthless. I had to spend one hundred dollars on it in order to replace the battery, and then within the next two weeks( I onlly drive my car once every two weeks, when I come home from college) it was producing a ridiculously loud squeal. I can't wait to graduate college so I can sell the ol' POS.

Pros

The Duratech engine delivers good power. Fuel milage is just OK. Comfortable front seats. Has been reliable with only normal upkeep.

Cons

Ride quality in the rear seat is only fair. Brakes are not as responsive as other Fords I have owned.

Good Quality Car For What We Paid For It 9 Years Ago. — It's been a good car, my wife is the primary driver & she likes it. Does go through a battery about every 2.5 years. We have had it for 9 years, It currently has 128,000 miles and everything still is in working order.

Gas Mizer — like the comfortable ride , dislike weak transmission, very economical ,very inexpensive to fix,car handles very well ,manages to get around in bad weather quite impressively, the Taurus seems to be one of fords strongest car brand this car is a real workhorse dispite its setbacks it is a very great car to own

Pros

Comfortable, Safe, and Reliable

Cons

Not fun unless you get the stronger engine

Reliable, Safe, And Comfortable. The Pros Outweigh The Cons — The Performance is average. Its not really made to race, its more of a family car. The build quality is great, everything works and is still running strong with only minor repairs. I love the appearance, its a very unique shape and very safe design. The gas mileage is good for a heavy 6 cylinder sedan, the maintenance is very regular. This car is not fun at all to drive. Its a cruiser, its made to get places comfortably not quickly.

Ford Taurus — Very good family car. Great on long trips. We have just over 100,000 miles and it almost all original except for brakes and tires. Well made car I'd recommend to anyone. The only major complaint is that I'd like it to have more power, although it does get 30 to 32 mpg.

Great Ride, No Problems, Until This Heating Stuff... — This is really a nice car. I bought it new and drove it for 105,000. No problems. I was able to replace my brakes (rotors & pads) without any problems. This car rides like a Benz. Very roomy and comfortable

Pros

How safe it was, how strong it was, how reliable it was.

Cons

The length, how it turned.

It Was Very Safe. — I really like how safe and reliable it was, it never let me down. The main thing I didn't like about it was how long the car was itself and the way the way it turned, it was too wide.
