Leather seats, seven-passenger seating, and running boards were some of the options available.
2002 Chevrolet Astro LT owners say they love its flexible utility (for hauling lots of people or lots of stuff). Some report that, even on this luxury trim, the interior is cheaply made and rattles and comes apart easily. However, the steady stream of consumer complaints about major expensive repairs has all but dried up for 2002.

It is the same as the two-wheel-drive 2002 Astro LT, except that the AWD handles better in snow or slippery conditions, has less towing capacity, and is heavier (therefore less fuel economy). A limited slip differential was standard on the 2002 Chevy Astro AWD.
2002 Chevrolet Astro LT AWD owners say they love the van's roominess, ease of use, engine power, and handling. Some complain, however, that the interior is not well designed, citing the lack of driver leg room, the noisiness, etc.
