Pros

I am POSITIVE this car should NEVER be bought- the electrics are a NIGHTMARE and every time you go to try and fix something, it is buried under the ELECTRICAL system and the mechanic will charge you WAY more because of all the labor!

Cons

We've had this car for precisely ONE year and two months- and haven't even put 2 thousand miles on it- because as SOON as we had it in our custody, we realized the mechanic who SOLD it to us, put all this gunk into it to cover up all the PROBLEMS.
First it was the lifters- noisy- then it was the wheel bearing, then the radiator- it's overheating for some reason- blower speeds quit except for 4th- and NO HEAT OR A/C. ENGINE LIGHT IS ON and we are prob gonna have to junk this car. 4 thousand dollars for a piece of JUNK- and from what I've heard, ALL cars of this type are the SAME way- especially the "luxury" models. GREAT car to SLEEP IN but not much else!

Terrible Car- Do Not Ever Buy This Model, Year, And Type! — I am disgusted by this car purchase, and all of the "flaws" this car has, and it is my own fault because I didn't do the proper research on it, and found out after the fact that all the problems we are having (blower motor, radiator, electrical nightmare problems) could have been seen in plain day had we been more studious in our research . This is a lesson for the ages...take your TIME when you have the CASH to buy a car - because it is a BUYER'S market when you are holdin' 4 grand!

Pros

For day-to-day comfort and luxury

Cons

Only reason to avoid this car may be its gas mileage (19MPG)

Nothing Has Balanced Luxury And Power Like Buick Does. And It Has That American Brand We All Know. — Never can go wrong with a Buick. Buicks are America's Toyota, very reliable but still have that American zest of being bigger - in every way. The car is a sleeper: meaning, looking from the outside, it's a grandma's car. But the 4.1 V6 can take on most sportscars like they're nothin'. Trust me, I've done it. It does justice when you're one lane over from a peach-fuzzed 16 year old with a huge ego in his Mitsubishi Eclipse, thinking he has a chance at a drag race. The Buick Century boasts an astonishing 0-60 in just 5.3 seconds. For a car that weighs 3,500 pounds, guess Grandma's been around the block more than you. Leather seats or cloth are extremely comfortable even on long trips, with power seats, windows, and everything else, it's a luxury car with muscle. Very smooth, boaty-like, but quiet ride.

Pros

Strong, Safe, on the way to Luxury...

Cons

Drinks gas if you have a heavy foot.

Definition Of A Family Car... — This powerful V6 engine is built well. Interior is very spacious with comfortable bucket seats. The concert sound feature was a plus on this model, providing rich acoustics. The low-tire light was another good feature which proved reliable. Very strong frame on the vehicle.

Pros

You should drive it because, it's like any ordinary car like Ford,Chevy, American Brands or Imports that are a regular model

Cons

Not meant for racing or limit

My Bottom Line Is If You're Not So Serious About Buying A Fancy Car.. A Buick Would Be Right For You — The Buick Century is an average daily car that would take you from home to wherever you're going like ANY Regular Car, though it is a GOOD Reliable Vehicle from Buick.. I guess you can say it's a so-so fun car to drive... if you don't want attention or people to look at you in any fancy car.. THIS is for you

Pros

Good highway driver

Cons

Rust along rocker panels

Not Very Quick — Solid car all around. Nothing to special about it. Rust likes to build along rocker panels and on gas trank door. Suspension absords just about anything, perfect for long highway road trips. Good V-6 sound when air box is replaced with a cone filter.

Pros

least stolen/vandalized car in america

Cons

average in every way. GM unreliability which is to say the engine runs forever while the interior rattles and the electronics slowly flicker out one by one.

Typical Buick — good low end torque. lackluster handling. average in every way like every buick. Not really fun to drive but not unpleasant. Mediocre in town mileage, great highway mileage. This one's rusting apart while the engine runs forever. certainly not an exciting car.

Cons

Comfortable — Smooth soft ride, not attention getting, handles good on ice. A nice big trunk to fit subs and amp in. Its very easy to customize, like I took the dash apart and painted it ford blue. Just for fun lol

Pros

Solid car, Drives smooth, Low heat.

Cons

Breaks down easily, Lacks any real power.

25

Buick Century Custom 2002 — While the car drives very smoothly, it lacks in proper acceleration, and like most north American cars, it is prone to a lot of break downs. Within 100k km, the Catylic converter went, ERG valve had to be replaced. While I would recommend this car to a friend, I would rather see them with a different car. Thats why overall, I give it a 3 star rating.
