Cheap! — Actually, it's not bad, but the fuel consumption..... It is spacious, ready for 7 people Excellent off roading It doesn't look handsome or attractive But it is cheap in price, it is hard to believe such a low price you can get a 7 seater 4WD!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Lots of room.  Low maintenance costs.  Ability to easily shift into 4 wheel drive only when wanted saves on tire wear and fuel costs.

Cons

Poor acceleration on the highway.
Supposed to seat 7 but they'd have to be 4 adults and 3 small kids to have enough leg room.

Good, Reliable Vehicle. Low Maintenance Costs. Better Suited To City Than Highway. — I've driven my XL7 for 10 years in a 4 season climate and there's no rust on the body or undercarriage. Other than regular maintenance, I really haven't had to put any money into it except for the A/C which was a huge repair bill and very disappointing since it was barely used in the first place. This vehicle doesn't accelerate all that great which isn't helpful on the highway. It gets great city mileage and even better highway mileage. It handles well and the seats are still comfortable after all this time. Second and third row seats fold down. Lots of room for kids, dogs, groceries, etc.

Primary Use: Family transportation
