Pros

Love how it rides stock, offroad as well as ice/snow capabilities, build quality, interior is nice and organized and not over-the-top.
Maintainance is easy, nothing major at all other than routine stuff.
Offroad capability really does live up to the jeep name.

Cons

Gas mileage and that i don't own two or three :)

Great All Around Vehicle — First off lets start with quality. I have not put any money into this jeep besides regular maintenance things, like oil and filters. This jeep is built very well, the interior quality is nice, especially if you get a limited or overland. The jeep 4.0 straigh six is an awesome engine and will run forever reliably. It has a good amount of torque, which helps it move the jeep reasonably well. Gas mileage in town is not good, usually around 14 for me, while highway is anywhere from 18-22 depending. The quadra-trac 2 and Quadra-drive 4 wheel drive systems a great AWD systems that will really work to get you out of some tough situations. Overall these are a great vehicle for any climate which gets tons of snow and or ice, or anyone looking for a good qulaity "SUV", even thought a lot of jeep owners will never refer to it as on but only as a JEEP. They are very capable offroad from the factory and with an ever expanding aftermarket, they are becoming even more capable.

Awesome Off-road Machine — This SUV served me well until it hit 100k miles. Then the transmission and automatic climate control went. With full-time AWD and a 4.7L V8, this truck is quick. Handling is typical SUV, you don't want to take those turns too fast. My Home Depot shopping cart!

Goes Anywhere, Anytime — We've always had some kind of 4WD SUV in the family - new england blizzards being what they are. This is our third jeep - we always buy them used because the new prices are staggering. This being the 8 cyl, limited model makes it a full on luxury jeep - but it's still a jeep; a big square box that goes anywhere, anytime. This is my daily driver now.

Great Car. — It's been a great car for the last 10 years. It is very comfortable to drive, has good performance. It gets decent gas mileage for an SUV. It has been very dependable for 10 yeasrs and is still very fun to drive.

The Jeep Grand — Just dont like the gas mileage... 15 or 16mpg city... Has great leather interior and room for comfortable ride Performance isn't that great, only 4.0L V6 engine. The subs in the back make it ballin' I use it for recreational fun and excessive driving and i have nothing else to say...

Lucky It Lasted The 7 Years I Had It — List of repaired items: transmission replaced under extended warranty once including four wheel transfer box , Battery twice, front brakes 7 times myself, rear brakes 3 times myself , right rear stop light 6 x myself (all GCL rear right lights burn out, wiring issue), cooling fan relay twice myself, Front and rear shocks 2x myself, Front CV shafts both sides myself, Shifter assembly myself, Cooling fan motor and assembly myself, Thermostat and water pump once, Valve gasket , Tires 3 times, Seal on rear differential case (one bolt hole not taped deep enough but bolt was installed anyway), Gas filter (bought two because aftermarket one will not fit), Fly wheel sensor (tells the computer the motor is running), And the biggest nightmare was the front eight way seat tracks. Both broke while the car was driving. First the driver side went while my daughter was driving and almost got in a serious accident. She ended up in the rear seat. The passenger side failed while my wife was sitting in it. I did extensive research on the manufacturing of these early seat tracks and found that while Daimler/Chrysler build these Jeeps. The bodies were assembled in the Czech Republic by TRW to a certain point then sent to the Jefferson plant for final assembly . Sub standard materials were used. I tried to repair these seat tracks and found that they could not even be welded. At the time I had access to metallurgy testing equipment and found that they used what is termed as PIG IRON as the base alloy in these parts . I had to buy used ones because new parts were over 700.00 dollars and Jeep would not replace them. I sent all my findings to the NTSB but have herd nothing. So I got rid of this .........JEEP and will never buy another!!

Love Jeeps But They Don't Love Me Back. — I always have been and always will be a Jeep person. However, I have come to the realization that I will have to love them from afar. I bought this Jeep 3 years ago with about 80K miles on it and in that time period I have put about 30K miles on it and about $3000 into it. I have had to replace all 4 wheel speed sensors, fixed the blend door for the passenger side heater (I did the cheap fix off ebay which saved me a bundle), had the seat heaters go out, replaced the rear lock actuator, replaced the mechanism that lowers and lifts the passenger side window and developed a glitch in the light system which results in the lights flashing at odd times even when the car is parked and off, and those are just the things I can remember. It really is true that the engine will last forever but its everything else that falls part. With that said I will still miss it. It was fun to drive and I always felt safe. If you are handy and can do a lot of the little stuff on your own it might be worth the heartache.

Pros

Excellent vehicle, reliable in the Jeep tradition and comfortable, good overall but not so good with mileage unless you stay out of the gas.

Cons

Mileage is the only negative of the V8 when gas is expensive

Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, Reliable, Comfortable And Quality — This is my second Jeep Grand Cherokee and I like it a lot, I have this one for a while and will probably buy a current generation next. The Grand Cherokee is great in the snow, comfortable for everyday driving and always reliable. I have not had any problems with this jeep and I expect it will last for many more years, I would recommend this model Jeep Grand Cherokee to anyone since I have always had good reliable driving with it. Great vehicle.

Pros

The comfort, the 5spd auto is actually amazing on the v8. I get 24mpg on the highway.

Cons

Nothing sucks about it.. I love it..

The Beast Never Sleeps — I love it.. always will and always have loved the WJ model. Its timeless.. and hopefully its lines will go on with me for a while. The QuadraDrive system is amazing... the v8 hauls ass for its size, and i wouldn't trade it for anything.
