Pros

I love how finding parts to fix it is easy to find.

Cons

It's a common car.

A Beginners Car — This car can either be your reliable friend or it can be a hastle. Since it's a common enough car and there's lots of them in junk yards, finding parts for them is easy. But since they are common, finding a unique perspective of it can be difficult. I once had a hard time finding my car in a parking lot because there were four similar ones...

Great Value — I bought my 2001 brand new early that year. After 6 years, I don't have too many complaints. My car has been pretty solid for me and I've had very few problems with it. Having said this, the 2001 Cavalier doesn't have many bells and whistles. There is no CD player and not even a tape player. My radio is still going strong though. I did have a problem with part of my dashboard suffering some sun damage and cracking down the middle. But, this car gets it done and I didn't pay all that much for it. I am planning to trade it in soon though as I see it's time to do so.

Pros

Sporty, Good Handling, Excellent Appearance, Reliable

Cons

Too Much Gas, Engine Noisy with A/C Running

Sexy Car! — This car is hot, inside and out. Its sporty has the RPM Gauge and everything and its even sporty and fun to drive. The engine isn't that bad 4 cylinder but it pulls as much as a 3.3L engine so not that good gas mileage. Stock sound system not bad either. Overall I'd say that this car is perfect for me! -Akhil

Nothing Flashy, Good Performance, Fuel Economy, Styling And Reliability For The Price Point. — Boasting 150 HP and 155 lb/ft or torque coupled with upgraded suspension including front sway bar and wide profile tires, the 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 provides excellent fuel economy with the best handling and acceleration in its class. With A/T/C PD PW and P/Sunroof standard on the Z24 trim level, the 2001 Cavalier provides styling and convenience with legendary Chevrolet reliability.

Pros

29-32 mpg, huge trunk, light, cheap to repair

Cons

american, poor material quality.

Its Ok To Go From A To B — the car is quite reliable but the cuality of the materials is not the best, everytime i go over a bump the whole dashboard rattles. the seats are unconfortable for long trips, the acceleration is not good at all, it just gets "angry" but it goes nowhere. the speakers are blown, theres cracks on the dashboeard and the stearing wheel. in a crash hope for the best

Cons

I Do Love My Little Car — Its small but tough drives like a truck kind of rough but has done me good untill now. Its hard to keep up on minor repairs on a small budget. All and all it has been dependable. Now not so much. Scared I'm gonna loose my job because of my car issues. But I will always choose a Chevy or a ford over anything else. I have had many makes and models so far this car has been the best

Pros

good all round car.
pros:  great on gas, great in the snow as long as you had all weather tires on.  lots of room in the truck.

Cons

cons:  not much room in the back seat (leg room especially), noticed on 3 cavaliers that I have driven that about 95k to 100k miles that the transmissions start to go.

Looks Nice, But Runs Crappy By Katie
