Best Sports Car! — I have owned many cars, and this one is STILL on my mind! It was great in the snow and ice (apart from the fact that it is low to the ground). It was fun, fast, and sporty. I always got compliments on mine while sitting at a red light. I miss my old Eclipse! It was definitely one of the best cars I have ever had. However, my only complaint was the interior fabric, it was almost velvety and I am not a fan of that kind of fabric, I should've gotten leather!

Fun Little Sporty Car With Good Gas Mileage — I just took over this car from my brother's estate, he used it as a commuter car. We cleaned it up to sell it, found a buyer, and I thought to myself, I would like to own this car at this price! So I bought it myself. Not having had a sporty car for myself for years, I love the 5-speed and good acceleration and handling. It's very comfy and easy to drive, although, at 6 foot 2, I have to duck my head to get into the drivers seat. It's not a Corvette, but it sure is fun, and seems to be very well built. My 2000 RS has 140,900 miles. Another thing that convinced me I should own it, I got it smogged, and the smog pro told me it was so clean it did not even register meaningful smog in the exhaust! Mitsubishi must be doing something right, after 140k miles, to have an engine run that well. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Berto's E — The acceleration was good enough for the stock V6 it came with. Handling was perfect. The car was absolutely a work of art and was great to drive. Not too bad on gas either. If you're looking for a thrill that won't cost you an arm and a leg, this is it. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

My Whip — It runs pretty good. Decently quick and gets me in trouble lol. Has some aftermarket accessories but has plenty of room for improvement and is a good platform to build on. Basically, its just a fun car to ride around in and comfortable to drive. Not the greatest in town but most people seem to like it. | ||

Cheap Alternative To A Porsche — I bought this in Dec of 2003 and tinted the windows, added the fin, and the rims. For only having a V6 this thing hauls. I had to be careful starting out or the torque would chirp the tires. It could hold it's own to most vehicles around, and it seemed like everyone tried to race me at stoplights, even mini-vans. Too bad the guy I sold it to totaled it just a couple of months after buying it. | ||

Cheap To Maintain Compared To My Vr4 — Great cruiser but never going to be a power house. I finished the body kit, seemles install solid black car. Built the car for my wife an dit gets around fine but cant go through trailer parks, side streets, or anywhere with speed bumps. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

I Love It Alot, It's Been Through Much With Me — I fell in love with it when I saw it in 2000. It seems silly to love a car so much but I've taken care of it and it has taken care of me. It kept me safe through a wreck and I'm trying to maintain it over time rather than discarding it, it is a good car. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Very Nice Car — love it brought in april of 2011 had to paint it and do several other things to it but like i said love the car the only problem ive had with it the whole time ive had it is that the starter relay went bad so the car wouldnt start but its a 5spd so just rolled it off till i got it fixed. plenty of power for a car that is 13 years old.
