2000 Honda Prelude 2 Dr STD Coupe Review
ProsAn uncommon sight, fun to drive, superb handling, great 4 cyl power, excellent craftsmanship. ConsLimited trunk/rear seating space. Premium fuel only.

One Of Honda's Better Creations That Needs To Make A Return To The Auto World. — By far one of the funnest cars to drive ever. Low center of gravity, wide frame and excellent handling makes you want to do 50 on every exit ramp. The 2.2L 4 cylinder DOHC VTEC under the hood is a lovely high revver redlining at 7400 RPM and pushing out 200HP (156 ft-lb tq.); which before the S2000 was definitely something worth noting in the 4-cylinder compact market. The exterior aesthetics are to this day beautiful and appealing with cars like the 1st generation Ford Fusion taking hints from it. The build is very strong and sturdy, making it a little heavier sports compact (about 3042 lbs in curb weight). However it maintains an acceptable 22-27 MPG...on Premium fuel. The only problem I ran into was rear seating space. It is truly recommended for small adults or children as it is very confined. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Overall I Think Its A Great Car — *performance - quick acceleration, awesome braking, above average handling *build quality - its needed the common wear and tear repairs nothing major *appearance - exterior is good, needs a little work like my hood needs to be painted. interior is also good, there r some thing s that i would like to add though *cost of ownership - get about 23 miles to the gallon, but it DRINKS oil *fun factor - this car is a ton of fun to drive Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Sporty And Nice — This car is fun to drive i have had it for 4 years and the only down side is that it takes premium fuel. The car runs smooth and is reliable. If you want a car with great handling and a sporty look this car is for you. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Prosthe looks of it, the honda reliabilty combined with the more then usual power you would expect from honda, its pretty quick. Consthe interior is rather small, it doesnt have alot of torque and the gas mileage is not the best.

Reliable And Quick But Not Fast Enough To Break Itself , Good Buy — Over all this car is pretty nice it never breaks and it looks like a very sharp car as well, its 200 hp 2.2 l vtec is pretty quick but you have to wait till 5000 rpms before its fast could have used a little more torque but its desent, reliable and looks good gas mileage could be better but better then truck gas mileage. small interior though Primary Use: Commuting to work |

ProsThe Super Handling gives this front wheel drive superb corning ability. ConsBack seat is a little tight for a family of 4.

Fun Car For 2 — Great car, very fun to drive with its high reving v tec dohc engine. However the high reving does lead to a higher fuel consumption. SH makes this a fun car to drive hard into the corners as the ATTS pulls you through where a normal FF would be understeering. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Great Car, They Should Make Another One — Love my car- overall performance is great. Built solid, over 100k miles and it still runs like new and looks like it is a new car. price of ownership isn't very high, typical regualr maintenance. Love taking it out on a curvy road or somewhere I can really open her up and let her CAMS sing Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Prelude — The H22 is a solid motor but the stock transmission, manual or auto, is crap. The car looks great. The lines make it look mean. The v_tec would be great if the tranmission worked. Also im blowing soot out of the exhaust. What gives? Primary Use: Commuting to work |

2000 Honda Prelude — This car is pretty amazing, it is very fun to drive in and with the exhaust I have in mine as you can see in the picture has an incredible sound. The car is small yet still comfortable and I know that it will last me for a long time. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
