Everyone must be happy with his or her Honda CR-V, because nothing new was introduced in the year 2000. We all know this vehicle is not meant to handle rough terrain, but since many consumers seem to want to own an SUV or minivan, this provides Honda a place in the market segment.
Honda's unibody design with an independent 4-wheel suspension puts the CR-V above anything else in its class. The 2000 model is now selling for about $8,250 to $11,300. In a price comparison, I doubt you will find as good a vehicle anywhere in this price range.
People rate this car highly because in addition to getting them into an SUV, it has good gas mileage, room for 5 people and plenty of storage space. It comes with a 2.0-liter, 146-hp engine. It is available with front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). It can be equipped with a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The CR-V's side-opening tailgate with the spare tire mounted on the outside allows for exceptional storage space, one of the reasons many people purchase an SUV.
