Sunday Cruiser — This is not your grandfathers Caddi. The 2000 Cadillac Deville DHS comes with a 275 hp @ 5750 rpm & 300 ft·lb of torque NorthStar V8, the same motor that powered the Olds Aura V8 cars to an American LeMans Series Championship. Those may sound like great numbers but for a fwd car that weighs in at 3800 lb (That is just shy of your average pickup truck). You won't be able to turn incredible 0-60 times, but with the availble 300ft-lbs of torque you tons of passing power. The ride quality of this car is very refined, and unlike later models of this car that have stiffer frames this car does give alot of body roll during cornering and it gets very neverous under high speed turns. Brakes are solid for a car for such a big car.

The Best Highway Experience I've Had! — I really loved when I had my 20'' rims on the car how stylish it looks. Also my subwoofers really hit hard in that spaceous trunk. I still have the rims if anyone is interested however, two are bent do to potholes. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

My First Caddy — This is my first luxary car and not sure if i will own another in the near future I miss driving a manual trans. Also its not the snappy take off I would like and miss either I had gotten this car out of necessity my cavalier was bassicaly dead and it was a deal I couldn't pass up. Gm Stinks, This Cadillac Was A Prime Example. — Terrible car. GM purchased this car back with 4k miles. Unable to fix. Cadillac blamed the dealer, the dealer blamed Cadillac. I was caught in the middle. Both sides pointing the finger at the other. In the end, GM purchased the car back and a new Jaguar VDP was purchased. Still own that car. Great car! Drives Like A Dream And Big As A Truck — Big body 4 door with a 320hp V8 northstar its extremly fast and powerful and also smooth....its flaw is it drinks gas like an alcoholic at happy hour and expensive to fix...beautiful interior and exterior....chrome wheels. Bose 8 speaker audio system(loud as hell for a stock systems)...right mirror turns down to the curb when in reverse...reverse sensor and wood grain trim sourounding the entire interior...u can turn eyes with this vehicle with out pimpin it out..... | ||

Great Car If You Maintained It As You Should. — Great car! FAST with its 300HP Northstar. Touring package. This car was suppose to be a winter car, but like my fleetwood, was too nice to be a "beater" I drove it a bit, but ended up letting my mother drive it for the few years a had it. I owned it for 2 or 3 years, put about 30k miles on it, and sold it for $500 more then i bought it for. Not my best profit, but I didnt lose money. None of my cars have I ever took a loss on, and this was probably my lowest profit of all my cars :) Primary Use: Commuting to work |
