1999 Chevrolet Camaro — It's a Camaro. I mean, what more can I say ;). Seriously, it has a V6, that feels like a V8, that gets nearly 30 MPG on the highway. It has a KILLER sound system, that will literally shake the windows in the houses you go by (not that I'd ever have the sound that loud, of course, LOL), and it's a t-top model, so you can have an almost convertible on a pretty day, and a hardtop coupe on rainy ones. I seriously doubt I'd trade it for anything, because it is perfect for the commuting college student. Oh, did I mention that it is super reliable.

My 1999 Nightmaro — I do truly love this car- I will always own a Camaro! It runs pretty good for a lil 6, but it has always had issues with coil packs...I have five of them in my backseat just in case. It's certainly fun to drive and will take a corner! My problems with this car the same problem with all newer vehicles- that computer crap makes it impossible to fix on your own and some of the parts are not quality. For example, after like 3 years, I had to replace my power window motor. Keep in mind the ones on my Vette are 30 years old and still work perfectly! Overall, though, I am in love with this car!

Cons

Tha Beast — Love it all, just waiting for the twin-turbo 502 Ram-Jet and gloss-black paint with red and silver pinstripe hockey stick, 3in exhaust with cutouts after headers. I would like some 20x8 rims front and 20x15s back(might require tubbing). It has custom interior- gray with red accents, JVC radio, tryin to get custom fit box to two 12" MTXs in. Im perfectly content with it as it is until i get enough money for the 502. After all it gets 31mpg tops, is pretty darn fast, and has eaten its share of mustangs.

Ram Air scoop in the rain, not a Trans Am WS6

My Ss — I like the LS1 V8 with the T56 6-speed transmission. Without tuning it runs a 12.9 1/4 mile. I know I can make it go faster. Don't like driving in the rain for long period of time due to the ram air scoop. The only thing I don't is that it's not a Trans Am. I like the way they look better.

Pros

V8 Performance with sleeper looks in England

Cons

Body not perfect

Awsome Car For Little Money — Great car, especially in England where there are very few around. Not bad economy for such a large engine either (5.7/350). Insurance is cheap, half the price over my old MR2 Turbo. Fun to drive, although not as good on the corners as others. Although you must get an after market exhaust to get the true V8 sound

My Baby — Love the looks, power and accessories this car has. T-Tops so u have the air like convertible, but the body stiffness of a coupe! love it! Put her on the dyno this year and she did 335 HP to the rear wheels, thats almost 400 HP at the motor. 342 ft/lbs of torque too!

3.8 Liter V-6 That Pulls Nice, But Expect Some Plastic To Break — The 1999 Camaro that I own has seen better days. Not because it has been treated horribly, but because the build quality is in my eyes substandard. Trim pieces molded in plastic are cracking and breaking, the leather is cracking, and the paint is cracking. The car is cracking all over. Not to say that the drivetrain is hearty and loves being pushed, but performance is slightly above standard for its generation. With a basic FlowMaster Exhaust system, I can still beat brand new V-6 Mustangs, quite impressive. That is in a straight line. On a track, I don't know how safe I would feel with the amount of body roll I experience in my Camaro to take it around a track going anything over 40mph.

Best First Car Ever. — I've loved this car since the moment I got in it. It handles well, has been really reliable, and has been a ton of fun. My dad bought me this out of sentimental value (he got a Camaro as his first car), and passed on the sentiment to me. I would recommend this car to anyone.
