Prosfun to drive, great on gas. Conslow horsepower and torque

Awesome Car — awesome car overall. it gets great gas mileage which is awesome for todays prices for 4$ a gallon of gas. any repairs needed on the car are quick, cheap, and easy. the style of the corolla is pretty basic, but i love its still sporty yet non sporty look. my car i did some of my own body work to though, you cant get it that way lol. and best of all, the manual is the most fun thing to drive. it has 185k miles on it still running fine as being a teenager i beat the crap out of it. horsepower doesnt really kick in till mid 3k rpms though

ProsRuns Great ConsCould you some cosmetic work

My Corolla — It runs great and has never given my any major problems, however it is not well put together as all the door handles except one are broken on the inside. It gets about 25 to 30mpg city and 35 to 40 highway. Doesn't have much get up and go. I would recommend this car to someone who doesn't like to spend a whole lot on gas

Prosnot domestic, good make/lasts quite long Consparts are expensive

Toyota — Toyota is a really great car actually, especially if you are going to buy a used one! They tend to have noisy heaters though, especially the older they get. And if your car is before 98 you will have a timing belt which needs to be changed around 150,000 km. 98 and up its a timing chain so those last forever.

ProsDrives well ConsLooks aint included

Corolla Commuter Car — VE stands for Very Expensive Edition People. This car goes from A to B and back to B, but forget about Z. # Performance – acceleration is pretty nice not too much lag from push gas pedal down, braking is fair for a light weight car, handling is pretty solid and it parks really easy # Build Quality – has it needed repairs? Not many at all which is great for a 1998 # Appearance – looks like a family car, need I say more # Cost of Ownership – gas mileage is great 40$ is the max I have paid for a full tank, maintenance is low # Fun Factor – is this car fun to drive? Meh Would you recommend this car to a friend? Hells yes it is a great little car and is very economical.

ProsPros = Great car, easy to maintain, fuel efficient, fun to drive. ConsCons = Not the sexiest car. But that never stopped anyone.

'98 Toyota Corolla — My sister handed down her car when she went off to college and, besides the basic maintenance every car needs, this car hasn't needed a thing. A slight leak in the hydraulic power steering line is the only problem this 14 year old car has had. It has run through many 'a tire but it's one of the funnest cars I've ever driven. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsIt's very reliable. 12 years and still running perfecto ConsIt's weak, I like power & torque. This has neither

Consumer Friendly — small but very reliable, great on fuel economy. Doesn't look extrmely awsome but It's no where near a laughing stock. Interior's basic, but extremely easy to upgrade if you know what your doing. & Maintnance is never really an issue. Thanks Primary Use: Commuting to work

Not Modified Bt Chole — awesum engine sound super acceleration after 60 km/h, beautiful chasis. weak acceleration initially, bt enough 4 bangladesh. bought brand new 98 model bought in 99. huge mileage and excellent maintained.this car surely is funky to drive unlike a vvt-i engine toyota.roaring engine sound. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

1998 Toyota Corolla 4 Dr Ve Sedan — Performance: Reasonably nippy for a 1.6, brakes good, handles good on lowered suspension and 17" alloys. Build Quality: Very Good, even air con worked well. Appearence: Sits well on big wheels and low suspension with subtle TRD bodykit. Cost of Ownership: Cheap to run. Fun Factor: Lots of fun with very loud exhaust setting car alarms off. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Love It — Excellent family car but in a sports version...only about 1 of the 2 that came to Fiji...this baby had a extraordnary 110hp 5AFHE engine thats about the same as any corolla 5AFE engine but with a very aggressive air flow system which gives extra ordinary power to his car... my personal best in this car was 175kmph even though this was a automatic..manual would have clocked 180+++.. too bad had to sell it!! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Great Car! — love the reliability, but needs power locks and windows. great all around car for comfort, fuel economy. drives like a new car at 165000km. factory stereo with 2 speakers even sounds good still. everything works as new. we all should drive one Primary Use: Commuting to work |
