Honda Prelude — This car was one of the best cars you could ask for. It handled like it was on rails and caught the eye of most everyone who was around. Not your typical car. It was a darn shame that Honda discontinued production of this beautiful car in 2001. I hope they bring it back in years to come, because they will always have a buyer in me. -Mike Owner of 1989 Si and 1998 Base

Pros

Performance, Appearance, Fun to drive, Rare

Cons

Auto Tranny, Black - always washing it.

1998 Honda Prelude — I love the performance this car has. It has always been my favorite Honda. The auto tranny failed on me and I had to convert it to a manual. The car is so much more fun to drive now. Perfomance - acceleration (VTEC), superior handling, tons of aftermarket goodies avail. Appearance - the car has a very good look in stock form and needed only a few changes. The car has a very aggressive look. Beautiful lines.

Good Old Prelude — Performance - 2.2 Vtec has great sound and decent power, cornering behaviour is good with low body roll, 1st class FWD handling Build Quality - Made in Japan.. no complains Appearance - still looks good after 10 years, can't ask for mpre Cost of Ownership - very low, very reliable overall Fun Factor - handling is good for a FWD

Pros

ONE WORD FANTASTIC

Cons

One Of A Kind — This is the best car I have ever owned - it looks fantastic from the outside, and its actual performance more matches the aggressive style of the car. The VTEC engine is quite civilised below the 5200 mark, but savage once you get beyond it - sounds very good as well. Corners like its on rails and has put the fun back into driving. The interior is comfortable, but rear seats are for joke value only (who cares) - the dashboard has a very cool 80's style spacecraft feel and makes you feel very important! In short - an absolutely great car that will outperform any boy racer and a good deal of supposedly superior cars - especially fun when BMW drivers try to dust you off the lights (it can easily leave a BMW 525i behind) - Buy one immediately!

great car, good looking, etc.

Cons

not much interior space

First Passion Car — Great Honda Prelude, full options, really good looking, green with cream leather, well manufactured, reliable. I just like when people ask me what car it is, it's not a really common car here in France.

I Had One Of The Coolest Honda's In My Car Club By darinp
