Cons

the whole thing is negative

Worst Thing In The World — This truck has been a curse since bought owned for 4 years and have only put 9000km on it, leave it for a day or two and it breaks, drive it around it breaks, it also has the experimental transmission that GM thought would be a break though technology in it and that went within the first 6 months of owning it and cost 4000 to replace, Go near the thing and i swear it automatically breaks

Anonymous bought one because:

I will be honest I am a chevy guy but my truck has 265000 miles and goes great, parts are cheap, rides good, lift kit was cheap, easy to work on, though its been pretty reliable except regular maintance

Pros

everything about it

Cons

should of got a four door but there is nothing wrong with my truck

Lukes Truck Reveiw — My truck gets up and goes just as fast if not faster than any other truck on the road even if it is the new and improved model. right now i guess it doesnt to so well with the gas prices going up im only getting about 13 mpg with it or $.25 to a mile for you that are wondering. The four wheel drive works great i have the push button option but sometimes its hard to tell whether or not it switched back to two wheel drive or not. I have had it a couple times driving on dry pavement with it on o well.

Excellent — Torque is low enough to be able to drive on the streets as well as pull out a tree stump!!! well as you can see i lifted it and i had to take off the bumper it looked to stupid with it on!!! in the city 15mpg on the highway 25mpg!!!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Its a showtruck

Cons

A dent on the hood where I ran into a bird

Cammed 1500 — I love the paint job and the built Vortec 350 and it is very fun to drive. Lots of power to pull or to haul a load. Gas mileage use to be great for a V8 until cam and head upgrade.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

aggressive and dutiful

Cons

the price of gas needs to go down now!!!

Sierra — Not much to say about it... it's a truck. I like the look and styling... brutish. It's black with the 5.7 L engine. It has some power, but it's still a truck. Except for the gas it's pretty inexpensive and easy to work on.

Pros

Solid ride, no wind noise in cab

Cons

none to speak of..

1998 Gmc K1500 — This GMC has been a good solid truck. It was purchased with 142,000 miles and now has over 182,000. We've had no problems with the engine or drivetrain. It uses about a quart of oil between changes, but the Vortec V8 keeps going strong. The ride is still very comfortable, the cab is quiet - no wind noise. Overall, this is a great vehicle and highly recommended.
