Mislead — 170 miles was alot, and I knew it when I bought it.I thought I could keep up with the preventative maintanance on it and fix any previous problems.Its basicaly an overwieght station wagon.With a over rated,under powered,vortec V.6. Gas milege is none excistent,and thats just to move the fat little thing from the stop light..In the 4wd model the front suspension is really lose and in dire need of a stabilizer bar or more then just an alignment.Needless to say,the entire over weight front suspension was neglected by the engineers over at GM.Although the 4wd does work real well,if not great.It still does not make up for the under devolped suspension.Which is even more evident in the fifteen inch tire that comes on standard models. The interior, over stuffed and now I start feeling as if the walls are closing in when I drive. I no longer attempt to haul any thing in the rear even though the rear seats are entirely callapsable,you have to push the front seats way up to do it. All I can say is a Gorilla riding a football is not my idea of an acceptable drive.The electrical wiring, is solid enough to compete with any other car company.However, fuses and relay switchs will become a definite problem, at least with mine.The truck looks great,thats why I bought one.Unfortanitly its not practical or cost effiecent enough to recomend to anybody looking to buy a quality built SUV.

My Jimmy — it's awesome it can go through almost anything. The only bad thing that i can think of is that it maxes out at 97. It does very well on gas mileage and has a small gas take. I love the 4-wheel drive especally when it rains or snows. I like the brown color because i don't have to wash it as much unless it rains or I park under a tree.

Awsome — It needs repairs, but they are minor. the vehical has treated me well over all. Plus it is my fave color, not that it matters as long as it runs properly. it has performed beyont my expectations for an older vehical.

Primary Use: Family transportation

1998 Gmc Jimmy — Well i'm not so big on SUV's but hey its a car and i've driven it. It has a lot of room which is what you want in a big vehicle. This is a small vehicle for an SUV but I think thats actually a good thing. Decent performance. It can go and you never feel like a lack of power is overwhelming the vehicle which is the case with so many big vehicles with smaller engines. Handling in this thing is downright frightening, it feels like im driving on top of a giraffes head. This is one car I don't want to get sideways. I gotta say overall its a great car the one I drove has well over 200k miles on it and still running with only one major electrical issue.

A Step Up In Life — Nice looking SUV The two-tone paint scheme gives it a sporty look The Cooper Cobra with large white letters on the sidewalls look awesome on it The leather is nice! Needs a lightbar on the front for lights Great SUV!
