Prosits a good car Conshvac problems

Grand Am Gt — its a 1997 grand am gt green in color with factory 16 inch rims. The car has pretty good handling and power with a pretty good sound system. It could use a newer paint job and bigger rims. I would like to lower it sometime soon and get it to handle better.

ProsInexpensive to buy and insure Constoo many repairs, it was 10 yr old

First Car — First car, I bought it in 2006 from a relative paid $300. Over the course of the year I had the car, I spent more in repairs than what I bought the car for. So, my mom got a a new car spring 2007, traded in the one I had, and bought my mom's old car, paid way less than it's book value.

ProsFAST ConsCan't think of any.

Pontiac Grand Am, One Of The Best! — I love the acceleration on the car, it has a lot of power when you step on the gas. The Gas mileage isn't soo great, but its good for a teenager that wants power. The interior is alright, and the exterior i like, mine is red and it looks awesome. The car, is amazing to drive, and its got good handeling.

ProsThe little engine that could. Can't kill it, can't ask anything more from it. It does what it does. ConsCould use a little more power. The 4 speed AT with overdrive kills it when it comes to highway and better fuel economy

The "grand Damage" — Hey, for what it is with 132k miles, it aint all bad. It's a beast when it comes to accidents (I should know, I've gotten into 3 of them0 and it just won't die. Decient on the gas mileage and power, but I'll be looking for something that's got a little bit more under the hood for the next one. It's great for just a one person car, but anything more that 2-3 people can get kinda crammed.

My Car — acceleration could be better ... overall speed is not so great. one thing i like about it is the hand E-brake and also the front wheel drive is good for getting unstuck but not so much for drifting which is so much fun. I would like a new car but this one will do for now. it is a grey-blue

ProsOverall, pretty nice. Good for a small family. Fun to drive. ConsThe interior can be easily destroyed, but with care it's no big deal.

Decent For A '97 — My Grand Am has around 63,000 miles on it, which for as old as it is, is a pretty low mileage. Runs well, although I have had some alternator troubles in the past. The interior starts to slowly fall apart, i.e.: side mirror adjustment, glove box, simple stuff. Certainly fun to tool around in, although not the most fantastic thing on the planet. |
