1997 Dodge 1500 318mag 5.2l 2dr 2wd — performance wise its alright for a truck the acceleration is alright wish it was faster, braking is amazing, handling is good except on sharp corners. Build Quality it has needed repairs-replaced the radiator, water pump, and head gaskets, interior is brown and light brown wish it was a different color exterior is brown and silver/light grey, it has aluminum wheels, i have added performance plugs and a k&n cold air intake makes the gas mileage better gets around 18 mpg, and if you add lucas oil fuel additive runs smoothly and adding lucas oil stabilzer to your oil runs nicely. | ||

Strong Beautiful Truck — It fits me well, strong and beautiful just like me. The truck is very efficent in towing, and driving in the snow, it has been very cost efficent about maintiance, both the interior and exterior are in superb condition, this truck is very fun to drive in the high mountains. | ||

Dram — loved it miss it..... Build of the Dodge was great... from how tough the truck was built it pretty much saved my life in a pretty bad accident.. One complaint is the gas mileage. It got pretty bad with 13mpg with gas rising.. It was a fun truck to own. I was proud to own it. | ||

1997dodge Ram 1500 Ss/t — Great car thats a real head turner, has a 5.9 litter V8, about 300 horsepower. suckes up gass like a little kid in the summer 13 city 18 highway. Got to love the stock Red with t silver stripes. the truck is prety much stock. except the air cleaner and the exaust. HUGE cab my friends who have extend cabs say that my cab is only a little bit smaller than theirs. i love driving this truck the horsepower isnt crazy but enough to have some fun. | ||

Excellent — love the semi look. been waiting to get one since they came out. always have been a mopar guy. 360 kicks butt have a 87 dakota aswell. great work trucks.i haul a lot of metal and does the job and doesnt strain on heavy loads. handles really well and a good turning radius. i think that the cup holder is cheasy and the corners of the windhield should have been narrower. but overall i love it.one more thing the knobs on the heater control should be made more durable. went to the salvage yatd to get two and not less than 5 minuts later a lady came in and needed the same ones aswell. coincadince?
