Pros

Solid and reliable, roomy and comfy!

Cons

notoriously bad tranny design

6th "car" — We bought this van when it was 2 years old and other than having to replace the tranny which is expected with Grand Caravans, it has been a very good vehicle for us. We still have it and plan to drive it til it dies. It's heading to 200,000 miles and has been on many long trips around the country. We got the LE model so it has a lot of nice features making it comfy and durable!

Pros

TVs, DVD/video player, front/rear CD players, accent lights, paint color combo, Prime wheels, GREAT for road trips!

Cons

Age & mileage catching up to it unfortunately.  Not much longer before an overhaul, and she'll be just like new again!  ;)

Awesome Mark Iii Conversion — Gotta give love to the minivan no matter what. Mark III custom conversion by the dealer, this thing has TVs, DVD players, video game hook ups, accent lights, the works -- and had it all WAY before the vans of today. Elegant appearance with the green paint w/ gold pinstripes but adds some flavor with the Prime wheels. Going on 11 years now with crazy mileage but it still runs great, is smooth as a dream, & once it gets going, you just cruise. Any time I think of trading it in, all it takes is one afternoon on my lunch break, sitting in the back seat eating my lunch & watching the latest on TV & I'm in love with this car all over again.

Pros

That's it's lasted this long - 304 040 km on it and counting!

Cons

Something on it always needs fixing.

Just Make It Better To Begin With. — It's a good family vehicle. But, don't like all the stupid noises it makes; that my mechanic can't find out what's wrong with it. Nice higher view above cars. Quad seating is much better than the bench seat in the second row. The Grand is much better than the regular size although it's not supposed to be that much difference.

Fuel Pump — when the mileage gets up there, beware! since i stopped using the dealership, problems stopped also. by 250,000km (canada) the fuel pump died. in a matter of 3 weeks i am now onto my 3rd new fuel pump! the first replacement only lasted 1.5 days! the 3rd pump now works in it's second week, knock plastic, it will last. no word from chrysler on this one, though i emailed head office. what are they hiding? now thw washer pump is on the fritz. time to stop buying parts from china! good luck, detlef
