ProsI love the fact that it is a mid sized truck with a 318 very powerful and it is also very comfortable in the front seats Consi hate the gas mileage, the back seats are very uncomfortable not very reliable its almost to powerful for its own good it produces to much power for the stock parts and it breaks

Its An Ok Vehicle For A Single Guy Or A Couple That Doesnt Have Kids — I love the fact that it is a mid sized truck with a 318 very powerful and it is also very comfortable in the front seats,i hate the gas mileage, the back seats are very uncomfortable not very reliable its almost to powerful for its own good it produces to much power for the stock parts and it breaks overall this truck is not very reliable for gorcery shopping but it can haul things very well and can pull a trailer pretty good Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsFast ConsStock Radiator Is Too Small

Great Truck — Great truck if it could keep cool while off roading. Love the bullet proof 5.2L Magnum V8, quick acceleration and lots of torque for a 318. The tranny is not so hot though, I've not had any trouble but i've heard from many people that they can barely handle the stock power from the V8 let alone a modified motor. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

3.5 Out Of 5 — All around and good reliable truck, fun to drive, sounds great. Comfortable and spacious inside, many accesories and perfect clarity for the sound system. Looks very nice and is very fun to drive. Built like a work truck and can go off roading almost anywhere Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Prosthe handling and performance is outstanding. ConsThe bumpers are very cheap and rusted thru.

I Will Buy Another One If I Am Able To. — I had been against Mopar products ever since I owned a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country mini van. I had a very bad experience with the quality of that vehicle. I had the opportunity to purchase the Dakota at a very reasonable price. I took it for a test drive and was very impressed. The truck had 181,000 miles on it and drove like it was new. I should have purchased one years ago. Primary Use: Family transportation

Eh — point a to point b vehicle. its a 4cyl so its slow, but it gets 25 mpg's! solid truck only problem in 2 years is a busted a/c compressor. i put 215/55/16's shoes on her so now she handles like a car.she can be a little tail happy in the rain, but that just adds to the funn factor. Primary Use: Commuting to work
