ProsSmooth riding car. Looks like new. 2 Owners, my Step father and myself. 26 to 27 MPG on the highway. All Cadillac cars have almost every option and they all work. Great stereo system. MP#, IPHONE adapator. Cons16 17 MPG in the city.

Excellent Car I Kind Of Hate To Sell It. — For those of you looking to pick up a reliable, safe and comfortable used sedan need look no further than the '97 Cadillac DeVille. It has all the luxury features you want and then some... The Northstar V8 engine is powerful and gives that nice "V8" growl when you give it some throttle. The sterei system is great, with an adapator for MP#, IPODS, Msart phones... It has power everything and the most intelligent lighting system I've ever seen in a car. It turns the headlights on when needed and somehow even knows when to dim the dashboard lights and when not to - amazing. The '97 DeVille gives you excellent value for your used car dollar. Primary Use: Commuting to work

My Cadillac — Great car, smooth ride, I love the interior. We took it to Ocean Isle Beach North Carolina and it got 25 miles per gallon. The trunk space is more than enough. I love driving this car. Enough with the grandpa jokes people, I know that I am too young to drive a car like this, but it is what I like. | ||

Cadillac Deville — Powerful V8 engine, and a very smooth suspension. Black leather interior. Great performance. This was a great car to start with. A car in similar quality can be expected to be bought for five to six thousand dollars. This is a great car to go for on a Sunday drive. | ||

Avoid It....unless You Want To Flirt With Your Mechanic On A Weekly Basis. — Acceleration is phenominal - effortless. Braking is yet to be desired, floaty, no pedal feedback, not stable during harsh braking - likes to wander. Handling? No, you AIM this car and hope it goes in that direction. Build quality is surprisingly very good, but the engine is the biggest pile of crap I have ever owned. Lower rod knock early in the game, LOTS of lifter chatter for no apparent reason. Taken to EIGHT mechanics, everything checked out, yet sounded like I was dragging pots and pans under the car when it was running. Constant repairs - all VERY expensive. Countless oxygen sensors, a/c compressor was awful, tried going out MANY times. Gave a beautiful light show every 20 miles of "service engine soon, (Code #) History, (Code #) Current, Check Gages" This car was a headache. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Cadillac Sts (studly Transportation System) As I Say — its actually a cadillac STS but it wont let me say that it is, its got heated seats, leather enterrior the whole nine yards. its good on gas, its got a bose sound system in it. 32 valve northstar under the hood. its what i like to call now a days sleeper. oh and its got a 12 cd changer in the trunk. its my other ride, its fun and confortable to drive. and i feel safe because its not my trans am so people wont try to destroy it. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
