A Great Car To Drive And Own. — Even though the Grand Marquis has a V8 engine, it only has two valves per cylinder making high torque numbers but low horse power. Weighing more then 5,000lb 0 to 60 takes a while longer then most V8's but has plenty of power when over taking vehicles on the highway. Another great advantage of the Grand Marquis's engine is the highway fuel economy, the 4.6L get 24 mpg highway and about 17-18 city, not to shabby for a V8. The car has plenty of room for not just passengers, but for all their luggage and then some. The many plastic parts in the interior are a disappointment when it comes to quality, but at least it looks elegant. Even though it's a big car she'll get in most tight parking spots with ease, with her size comes great ride quality, like driving on a cloud, the Grand Marquis glides over bumps and pot holes like nothing. The Grand Marquis is known for there "Grandpa" appearance and styling, but the elder might have an insight on the car. They're extremely save, reliable, and comfortable the reason why most senior citizens buy them. Even if your not over 65, the Grand Marquis is a great car to own and drive for all the ages. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Overall Good — Good acceleration, good handling (for its size). Its bad in the snow, really bad for the snow. Uses lots of gas, only about 14 mpg city driving . Can be expensive to maintain, recently had to replace intake manifold, o2 sensors, maf sensor Primary Use: Commuting to work

Great Car — Mine looks bad cause of the paint! It is pretty damn quick for being 13 years old, having 174 thousand on the original motor and weighing in at over 4 thousand lbs!! I personally love my car, but a Mercury Maraduer is an upgraded version of the grand marquis WAY quicker and WAY better! Primary Use: Commuting to work
