Pros

If you need to haul/pull something, ifs where its at.

Cons

Daily driving this thing would suck!

Useful But Crude. — The truck is a workhorse. I've got the XL so its not well optioned but does what its supposed to do. It is a Powerstroke so its got plenty of power and does reasonably on fuel. With the ground clearance it has, it goes great in the snow. The bad? The gearshift is slow and clunky (it IS a truck), turbo is slow to spool, turning radius is about a quarter mile or so, and it rides like crap.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros

fairly quick, actually rides like a truck should

Cons

no features at all, no room in reg cab, 2wd sucks

Would Love To Have It In 4wd Version — Had the 351 with 4.10 gears and limited slip, that made this truck 100 times better. Being a HD 250 it hauled amazingly. With the camper on, it barely sagged a couple of inches, whereas any half ton we've used nearly bottoms out. Somewhat cheap build quality, but solid truck. Hated the regular cab and 2wd, and being a work truck, there wasnt one single option.

Great Truck — I only paid $700 for this truck. With $250 in repairs, it has run like a champ. It's perfect for towing my 32' camp trailer. Back seats are small and typical for an extended cab truck. Ride is rough since it's a 1 ton, but I don't mind that. I hauled some heavy loads and the truck has performed perfectly.

Lets Get To Work — A good lookin truck that is easy and fun to drive. Wheel base is great for parking and maneuvering. Weight is well dispersed making this vehicle easy to handle on the road for cornering and adverse conditions. Brakes on a dime. Stereo system is surround sound.

This Truck Will Run Anything Over — Not a spot of rust on this beauty, she runs amazing and gets me out of anything and everything, plus has the speed and power to keep up with alot of the ricers in my area, 351 small block with hooker headers, k&n air filter upgrade, and much more

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Cons

Big Truck — One time our former church secretary let me drive this to Target to pick up some office furniture. It could barely fit in our garage, and it definitely felt huge. I rode in the extended cab on the way back, and it almost felt like riding an airliner.

Pros

Plenty of space inside for extra work gear. Hauls good amount of materials even with a full size toolbox in the bed. Great for home repair projects and property upkeep (haul yard waste etc.) looks good. Sounds awesome. Mpg is the same fully loaded or empty. Tows nice  with 5th wheel or hitch under rear bumper for work trailer etc. has air bags so it can handle a pretty stout load no problem

Cons

Pretty lousy m.p.g  it's expensive to upkeep a diesel so far as I can tell. Fairly slow on take off. Turning radius is not good. Rough riding overall. Power isn't great for such a big truck. Gets stuck easily in any soft ground. It's a road hauler built to work not off road.

Great For Its Purpose. Built To Haul Loads/pull Trailers,or Equipment. — More work than I wanted. I Like the longevity of a Diesel engine but not real happy with all the extra money spent on fuel and repairs as I'm not really a mechanic type and unfamiliar with Diesel engines. The current setup leaves a lot to be desired in comfort of driving and handling. But it's a truck for hauling stuff so it gets the job done well in that aspect

Primary Use: Commuting to work
