Awesome — Great truck bad fuel mileage great apearance love the look of the three inch lift kit with 33in tires.havent needed much work for a truck that is 16 years old. Just started to get a shake but all engine parts are still original. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Take It Camping, Shopping, Hill Climbing Or Wherever, Anytime Of The Year! — Performance - acceleration, braking, handling? goes about as good as 220,000 mile truck should Build Quality - has it needed repairs? squeaks/rattles? i rebuilt the front end, not the diffy, fixed a fuel line, put 2 tires on it, thats about it Appearance - both interior and exterior styling? perfect amount of seatin for me, lana, the kids and dog, looks pretty mean now that i took off the running boards Cost of Ownership - gas mileage, maintenance? got it when gas was 3.69/gal, first fueling cost over $80, but at least it gets around 10mpg! Fun Factor - is this car fun to drive? yep, if it sucked it would be gone Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

95' Chevy Tahoe — great work truck. It drives like a sherman tank but is also indestructable and unbelievably reliable. It is not very quick having only around 250hp but I have towed boats and heavy machinery, moved furniture, loaded it with scrap metal, and used it for camping and ski vacations without any problems. It is very comfortable despite having few luxury options. It is just a good, basic truck. I would get the 4wd version if you do winter driving. The 2wd version slides easily on snow, ice, etc... making it no fun to drive in the winter | ||

Great To Drive — The chevrolet tahoe is a good family vehicle to take on trips due to the compfort and cargo space. The only down fall would be it only get about 17 miles per gallon out on the highway. All in all its a good vehicle. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Good Investment — like the tahoe little better only bc i wanted it to be enclosed in the cab and when take everything in and out it wont be wet or covered in snow. Truck sucks horribly on gas but does wonders climbing up over rocks and down through the mud. plus likes to have some fun in the parking lots with ice. =) Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Idk — 95 Tahoe has the 350 vortex 5.7 liter engine which is very simple to work on,and has plenty of power. transmission could be better. overall this SUV is fun to drive on and off road.Also has plenty of room for aftermarket speakers. Mama's Doggie Limo — I use it to chauffeur dogs and hauling horses. Great for driving dogs, but could use a little more power in the hauling dept. Great for off-roading and awesome in the snow!!! 1995 Tahoe Nice Truck Chevy. — It's the wifes toy.. More like the Pavement Princess LOL... I find it needs stiffer sway bars but otherwise an awesome truck. Needs stuff done to it to make the get up and go a bit better. Alot of Power to spin if it would. The posi wont kick a burnout it's only good when pulling things like boats BIG boats lol... |
