Best 4x4xfar — ultiliterian, black, mean, powerfull, fast, loud 2 doors, covertable, and can get through anything, i love him to bits! acceleration, is really good, braking is good, handles really gd for an old 4x4. solid body, roof has needed replacing as it is canvas, clutch used to squeak but fine now. rugged outer styling and very utiliterian interior, simple and cool. petrol is ok when driven sensible. repairs do cost abit. u cant get anymore fun then driving with the roof off, music blasting out and wind in ur hair lol

Pros

Four-wheel drive owned snow

Cons

Was not taken care of at all and broke down every other week

Inspect All Used Cars — When I bought this car, I thought it would be a fun car to drive around. What I didn't know when i bought it was that it was a piece of crap. The coolant was basically rust, the distributor went out, i needed to completely replace all the brakes as well as a wheel cylinder, and a couple handfuls of sensors. I had a starting problem that lasted about as long as I owned it. I don't think this is common for Jeeps, but I would warn potential buyers to have the car thoroughly inspected by a professional you trust before buying it.

Cons

Great Suv — Greatest suv have ever owned, runs like a champ love the fact of all the different ways to accessorize. Offroading is great, would prefer to have a 6 cylander engine, but was way worth the price i paid. The group that is associated with wranglers is cool also, everyone aknowledges and waves or sits around in lots talking about different places they been.

Pros

Simple and fun. No electronics, no gimicks, no carpeting!

Cons

None, unless you want a silent smooth ride in an off-road vehicle

The Last Bare-bones Wrangler — 1994 was the last year you could get a Wrangler without airbags and a car-like padded interior. I never changed any of the suspension on this Jeep and have never had any problems getting stuck. It been driven from Auburn, Alabama to Seattle, Washington and back with never a problem. My only changes have been a new soft top with soft doors, a roll cage speaker system, and the tube bumpers and side bars.

Pros

Solid Little vehicle

Cons

Lack of power and poor ride quality.

35

Solid Little Jeep — Hated to see it go. Got rid of it for something that gets better fuel mileage on the highway. The 94 Jeep had a 4 cyl. with the three speed automatic. The new Jeep has a 4.0L six cyl. with the five speed manual.

Pros

Fun, eye catching, nimble, reliable, customizable

Cons

rough ride, limited protection from elements

25

Takes A Licking, Keeps On Ticking — This car has taken years of abuse and half hearted maintenance and has kept running like a champ. The thrill of driving without a roof or doors makes me question why all cars aren't door free.

Pros

looks good, even more so with the roof off

Cons

Woolly steering, very basic

65

Cheap 4x4 Fun — Dont no how something so basic can be so cool, only thing i dont like about it is the very woolly steering, cornerings not bad apart from you slide out the full leather seats, power is very good too, off roading is 2nd to none too
