My Dream Car — Performance - nice fast and good handling. Nice brakes. Build Quality - great quality. Appearance - Both interior and exterior is great. Best there is on the market. Cost of Ownership - a lot of gas goes there, but it's worthed. Not expensive maintenance. Fun Factor- Simply the best!

Pros

The car gets great MPG and can perform when needed. Big trunk. Put in a new engine a few months ago and runs better than ever. Not bad for a chassis with 235K on it.

Cons

Sorta slow when accelerating, interior needs to be redone, can get kinda hot in the backseat with no legroom. Its an automatic...

Nice For A Starter Bmw — Enjoy this car, its the runt of 90's BMW sedans. The 18 in 318i is for 1.8 litre straight four cylinder engine. Only has 120 hp but works plenty fine since it is rear wheel drive. I am the third owner, got it in September 2007 and put a new engine in December 07. The car now runs fine and doesn't leak a thing. Is rather comfortable for me as a driver; never been a passenger in it yet so I cannot say if its comfortable that way.

Pros

So much fun in such a small package!

Cons

Smelled like cigarette smoke... don't buy one with four empty packs in the passenger footwell :P

A Joy To Own. — I loved this car in Aussie, I simply couldn't take a trip in it without smiling. If there was a "character" score in the ratings it would be off the charts. Beneath it's faded paint, ratty interior, and less than adequate power, was one of the most amusing, hilariously competent sedan chassis I have ever driven. Add a 12" sub to the mix and it became the ultimate wannabe thugmobile as well, which only added to my appreciation of this little bimmer!

Cons

interior could have had a better build

94 Bmw 3series — Despite it being a rather old car it drove and handled better than most of my other cars. The engine ran strong despite its age and milage (I brung it over its 200k mark) but little things on it were cheap and could have had been make of better materials. (a lot of cheap plastics)

Perfect First Car — This car may be old but it the four cylinder engine made the car amazing at with fuel costs. The car is not very fast but never left me stranded even when it had well over 200,000 miles on it.

Style-in — Nice spring summer car, that will last forever. I bought this car from a 85 year old gentleman that when I saw it purchased it before I took it for a ride. It came from Florida only used in good weather. The m3 wheels realy give the car some POP.It has a new top. Just tuned. Deep sounding exhaust

E36 Bmw Classic — I think BMW's tagline says alot about it "BMW: the ultimate driving machine" Slow off the line, fast when rolling 0-60 mph in 9.1 sec, 60-100 in 2.4 does even better if turbo charged. Turns on a dime, and will maneuver you out of anything

The Tank — I barely got to drive it I was helping the tow truck guy get it out of the snow from when my friend was taking me home and we lost control in the snow and went through a snowbank into a ditch and a tree. The car was a tank and we didnt get hurt and the fender only dented just enough to where we couldnt drive it

Pros

Excellent gas mileage, small, sporty and compact, easy and fun to drive, handles and corners very well, relatively inexpensive to maintain and repair, excellent for one or two people, Fold down seats in the rear make for easy transportation of skis, snowboards and other things,

Cons

Low horsepower and torque, absence of limited slip and rear wheel drive make it difficult for winter weather driving conditions, 2 doors makes it difficult to transport more than 2.

Excelent Little Sporty Car. A Real Joy To Drive — 5 speed manual 318is, 128 horses, 125 ft-lbs torque. After market Dinan Cat-back exhaust, angel-eye head lamps, K&N air filter. Pioneer stereo, Amp and hook ups for subs (one day!). For the 4 banger that it is, this car is one of the most exciting cars I have driven. It handles very well, braking is excellent, and you really cant beat the 45 miles per gallon on the freeway. It has a high red line and the Dinan cat-back ads a few extra horses and a wonderful sound. Perfectly comfortable, and fairly quiet ride. Looks much newer than it is. The only downfall to this 318 is the fact that it lacks limited slip which makes winter driving tricky.
