Cheap, Reliable Transportation — My third car. Bought in 1993 with 10000 miles on it, traded in with 107,000 miles on it. Slow car with cheap looking interior. Not the best looking car but got 30 mpg. The most reliable car I ever had. Nothing went wrong with this car. I could always count on it to get me where I wanted to go. The Rodney Dangerfield Of Cars...no Respect. — Bought my 4D DX 3 years ago for $900. plus a $100 CD player that was stolen this winter. (insurance paid most of broken window and the cops CAUGHT the guy in the car but he'd already hidden the radio and the charges for theft were dropped.) The first week, kids throwing rocks at it busted the windshield and drivers door window, ($300) Have has to replace 1 CV joint ($300) and was out of action due to ignition problems most of this past winter ($150). Also, drivers wiper broke and have been unable to find anyone willing to fix it. Passenger side is rigged to cover almost all of window. Other than a slight tendancy to burn oil its runs decent in town. I do not trust it for more than 50 miles though. Downside is guys in 15 yo Geo Metros will challenge you to race. I can't count the number of times SUVs just simply cut over nearly on top of me. Repairs aside, its been good, cheap transportation...oh what lovely gas milage! Will likely keep driving it until the wheels fall off. Primary Use: Family transportation |

My Dad's Tercel — The performance is not great. Its accelration is farily slow, it brakes ok , and hanles fine, not amazing, but its fine. It is in perfect shape for an old car. No squeaks or rattles. The interior isnt amazing, its ok tho, its fairly comfortable for a little car tho. Its not very fun to drive. Not near as boring as the mini van tho, so thats good. |

Javr's Tercel — traded a bike for it so what can you expect i had the car for a while and never got it on the road till it was sold however it was a good little car if you dont mind being passed by elderly people giving you the finger for going so slow i put on tires, a distributer cap, plugs and wires, brake lines, front brakes and had to rebuild a brake caliper sold the car for $750 |
