Pros

Always starts and runs, air conditioning works just fine.  Straight, never wrecked.  Timing Chain Replacement went relatively easy.

Cons

Plastic dash plastic is crumbling and recent vandal destruction not addressed.  Former owner put terrible speakers in.  Timing chain problematic.

Ole Bessie! — Standard Cab is small, evil. Custom wheels with baby moons are rusting. Impossible to keep clean in Clearlake California where surroundings are like the surface of the moon. 168.000 miles and still a tickin' The timing chain suddenly went Kaput after 150,000. The new one is doing just fine, but still sounds a bit worn. I'd still drive this one to Los Angeles-

Great Compact Pickup Truck! — Very nice truck. Mine is a SR5 V6 5 speed and has all power options available, sunroof, comfortable bucket seats with lumbar support adjustments. Every accessory still works like it should, that includes ice cold A/C, the rear anti lock brakes and the original power antenna! It could use more power but decent fuel economy, excellent built quality and it's fun to drive!

My First Pickup — This truck was great. Not a lot of interior room, but the toolbox out back fit a lot of crap. It was only moderately fast cuz of intake and exhaust. Not so great wheels, but they fit wider tires, not so skinny as stock. I would recommend it to someone looking for a daily driver with enough room to haul a couch or 2, and who can complain about the famously bullet-proof 22R?

Nothing To Say That Hasn't Been Said Before — This is a solid all around truck; good for on road and off road alike. The only thing that failed was the automatic hub mechanism, so I changed them to AISIN manual hubs. There's not much room in the back "seat," but in a pinch, four grown men have been able to fit in the cab.

93 Toyota Extended Cab Pickup — Possibly one of the best trucks out there in performance and looks wise. Looks great with a lift kit and some big meaty tires and aluminum rims. Handles great and looks good doing it. I would suggest any toyota truck to anyone at any time. GO OUT AND BUY ONE NOW!!!!

I Enjoy The Heck Out Of My Truck. — My toy is a 1993 Toyota 4by with 35- 14.50x15 Super Swamper Thornturds, 350 Shivalay and automatic trans, custom headers and exhaust. It is a blast to drive. The performance is great. Build quality from the factory is fine, the cobbled work from the prior owner's mechanic was marginal.

Relaiable, Will go anywhere

Cons

Body rot, power

1993 Toyota Pickup — It's rotting away. The 4 cylinder is very realiable and easy to work on, but low on power. It is an awesome wheeling truck. It can fit down any trail a quad can fit on. The best part about a beater truck you can not scratch it all up and not care.

Dope Truck — lack of power its a v6 with the power of a 4 cyl and gas milage of a v8. its a nice mini truck but i would rather have a fullsize diesel. the front ifs sucks for flexing and its pretty strong

Lower power

1993 Toyota Pickup — If it had more power it would be perfect. But hey, 22RE longevity is legendary. The lines, fit and finish and enjoyability are all Toyota pickup. No, it won't pull at Powerstroke off the line, but it will be rolling when most other trucks of it's age are prematurely dead.
