1993 40th Anniversary Lic#" Vette 40" — When you wrap your ass in C4 fiber glass you will understand. The 91-93 vettes have the sweetest cockpit, you feel like a jet fighter pilot. This car is fun to drive and totally responds to your every command. A true giant killer.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Great car. Real Head Turner. Great ride and handling. New tires and top trim rubber. A few options that we think Corvette should have thought of. True Anniversary edition with all badges.

Cons

A little rough for us old folks to get in and out of.

A Lot Of Fun. — I have wanted a Corvette since 1969 and proud to have had this one. I know now why Corvette lovers are so Loyal. Classic car insurance through the Corvette Museum is really inexpensive. Glad I did not buy a new Corvette and find out their for younger folks. Have fun.

Pros

I love  the body style of the C4 Corvette. Red is for vettes.

Cons

Its a little hard to get out  of when you are 6'1" like I am. But you have to give a little to enjoy such a super american sports car.

Nothing Beats A Truely American Made Sports Car — This vettes acceleration is outstanding. Braking and handling is superior. It is a ease to control and a fun sports car to drive. The overall appearance of this American made sports car is second to none. Nothing like owning a Corvette.

Pros

Car handles like a dream, Great acceleration and runs great. Beautiful piece of industrial sculpture and engineering. Not overly expensive to maintain or repair.

Cons

Not much storage. Needs to burn high test gasoline, and uses only mobile one synthetic oil.

Very Fun To Drive, Gets A Lot Of Attention At Cruise Nights And On The Street. — Great car to take long rides with and go to cruise nights. Put the top down and enjoy. Not enough storage to take over night trips with, unless you install the optional luggage rack, or travel light. Car runs and handles fantastic, pure power. The brakes work exceptionally well, will stop on as dime.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Awesome Performance! — Performance- Excellent. I have driven faster cars, but this car is very fast. Build quality- Not that great, but it is good for an American car. Lots of plastic, and some parts are falling off, but its not too bad. Appearance- I like the exterior, it has a nice "long hood, short deck" look to it. I dont care for the flip up headlights though. Cost of Ownership- Excellent! Car gets about 27mpg on average and parts are easy to find and not too expensive. Fun factor- Awesome! Car handles very well and has a good balance to it. Wide tyres put power down very well. Let me take you for a ride. You'll understand. ;)

Pros

Great horsepower for the money.

Cons

GM can never get the quality to the level claimed every time they update the model.

Good Power And Fun To Drive. Should Be Smaller And Better Quality To Be World Class. — At the time, an incredibly powerful car. The Z07 package had the ZR-1 suspension and brakes without the additional weight and power. Excellent car for daily driving and weekend competition. Could get as much as 31 mpg on freeway driving. Original Z07 brakes are weak. Put 6 piston Wilwood brakes on front and moved the front brakes to the back for better stopping power.

"Sucks"?

The Original King Of The Hill Fails To Disappoint. — There are C4 Corvettes, and then there are ZR1s. Out of the 6000+ ZR1s, fewer than 1500 were built in the final three years of production with the 405hp LT5. Out of these, only the first 230 cars for 1993 still had the high torque transmission. This is #82, an Arctic White example with light gray leather, one of just 11 for the model year. It's far more car than we have roads for in the US, but the occasional outburst keeps it healthy.

A Fun Car To Drive With Lots Of Extras, Mainly The Bose Sound System. — The car has close to 500 HP, handles like a slot car and has an awesome sound system. It is almost like a toy. It is a Quasar Metallic Blue with a black leather interior. It has every option available. Gas mileage, if you keep it on cruise in sixth gear is over 33 MPG. My biggest complaint is about the cup holders. You can't shift into reverse without knocking over the cups. It can be expensive to own but worth every penny.
