Pros

These vans are known for Reliability, and lasting forever.

Cons

Door Handles Seem To Brake a lot. Power Windows & Door Locks work  intermittently. Distributors and Fuel pumps seem to another weak point.

Not The Coolest Thing On The Road, But Its Always On The Road. — When I first purchased "Clifford" he needed a little TLC, and I bought the cheapest running thing I could find fast. That was 3 years ago and as time flew by, He kinda grew on me. I haul everything, and one everywhere. Despite the high mileage and age, it runs and drives pretty well.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Boxy Gas Guzzler...but Comfortable On Long Drives. — My parents had a '92 Safari with additional horse power (they opted for 250hp instead of 200). It was a pain in the butt learning to drive in it. the car is now over 16yrs old with some minor work done on it. Has been reliable on long drives in the past but I believe that the car only has a couple more years now and will have to be put to pasture soon.

Pros

solid as a rock,  fantastic performance, never got stuck in the snow.

Cons

fuel consumption was comparable to that of a tank, you didn't look at mpg but gallons per hour.

Pig On Gas!!!! — This van was built like a tank, and the gas milage reflected it. In my case it had a liited edition super charged high performance engine which obviousy increased the performace on it. the ride was nice, had great cargo capacity. but the fuel consumption made you check your back account befor you drove it
