Never Gonna Give It Up. — It go 0 to 60 in 5 seconds. Never needed repairs. Exterior looks like new. interior looks like now. 20 mpg. This SUV is so awesome to drive. Excellent handleing. I can to a complete power slide without it tipping over. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Good Vehicle To Own. — Vehicle has great acceleration, braking, handling, and ground clearance. Have had some minor repairs done (Water pump, Clutch, and Head Gaskets) but should be expected since vehicle has over 200,000 miles on it. Still has original interior with exception of divers seat (Replaced only do to seat back broke). Very reasonable cost of ownership. Very fun to drive on and off the road. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Love The '92 Ford Explorer Xlt. — Mean Machine for long trips. Made it in no time from Wash DC to Orlando, overnight, fully loaded. Cost effective to maintain and operate. Loved the manual transmission! Very spacious. Super cold AC. Awesome turning radius. I would buy one again! | ||

It Is A Fair Car For Being Old,do Not Forget Is A Ford,and Ford S Good Like Gmc — Performance,acceleration,breaking good,doen't handle so good maybe because is an old truck,it was built to last wich is best quality in Ford's vehicles,lately had needed some repairs plus I changed schocks,tires,brakes,repair A/C system,fuel pump,belts,staff like that to keep it in the best shape that I can get,interior great conditions changed everything,sucks a lot of gas and with actual gas prices no good for my pocket,regular maintenance LOF,normal,yeah is fun to drive specially with stereo ful blast it,windows down,enjoy the day!!!!! Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Car — This car is utterly useless. You can feel the engine when you step on the gas pedal, but its more like a gentle breeze rather than a power surge. The suspension is good, but the overall drive quality is horrible. You shouldnt feel like your about to wind up on your lid every time you turn. | ||

I Love My Truck!!! — When I moved from Florida to Pennsylvania I was told I SHOULD get rid of my Honda and get a 4WD vehicle. I traded my 97 Honda for my 92 Explorer. Ball joints were bad but expected. Very little rust even in the Northeast!!! Starts and runs great everytime I turn the key. 4WD handles even the iciest winter!!! I am and always will be a Ford girl!!! | ||

ProsSounds amazing with muffler delete and 2.5 in tailpipe. Turns heads when they hear this coming and the look on peoples faces is great when they realize its this exlpoder making the noise. ConsHandling sucks, especially if you try to drive it like a sports car. Electronic 4 wheel drive system is CRAP.

Relible, Cheap, And Fun To Drive. — With the 5 speed manual transmission this truck is fun to drive. The perfomance of the 4.0 v6 is pretty good, it gets up and goes, but isnt amazing. Depending on driving habits I was able to get about 22 mpg. Easy to work on and parts are pretty cheap. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Explorer — handles like a boat, gets bad gas mileage, goes where i want to go and can haul lots of cargo 4WD works great! handles the snow well and the Heater works great in -45. Great Off-road Brute, This Suv Is At Home In The Mud — This SUV has lasted well past its sell-by date, but I have kept it for the reason to restore it and make it an off-road brute thats ready to tackle the trail. You can give the SUV quite a beating and expect it to start right back up the next day without too much problem. The styling on this SUV screams take me off road so i can get dirty. The car looks way better covered in mud and dirt than clean and fresh. You can not have fun in this SUV if you keep it on the road at all times. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Great Ride — I love this SUV. unfortunately It finally gave up the ghost at over 375,000 miles on it with no major work done on it other than a rebuilt transmission. It was always a blast to drive around town with my friends in tow. i would highly recommend this or any Ford truck to a friend Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
