1991 Nissan Pathfinder 4 Dr SE 4WD SUV Review
ProsThe positives of this car are as follows. Extremely reliable. (for it being 20 years old.) It has pulled everything we have hooked up to it.. Gas usage is great on the highway. It's a 5spd, and that means really great control. I have not had to ever dig myself out when it came to muddy hills and roads. It has also lasted and drove through at least 3 NYC blizzards, and survived 2 and half years of Floridian temperatures & hot roads. ConsThis model is prone to rust in various areas.

Why I Love My Pathfinder — I have owned my Pathfinder for 6 years now, and it has been there for me. I have taken the time to learn how this car works, its good and bad. My family and I will say that we've had sooo much fun in this car. From driving up grassy hills to get out of traffic, to fording through 3 feet of flooded streets, and plowing through 2 to 3 feet of fresh NYC Blizzard. Truly an awesome car to have, and keep running as long as possible. Primary Use: Family transportation |

The A/c Was Is Cold, Great Gas Mileage And I Didn't Care If It Was Clean Or Not — This engine was pretty powerful. It got me out of some tough spots. The quilty was pretty good. Nothing fell off of it. the a/c was the coldest I have ever felt. Great gas mileage. I would something think if the gas gauge worked or not. Lots of fun to drive. The truck was simple and easy to work on. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

ProsHandling, Reliability and Fuel Economy ConsLack of Power, Difficult to reverse park, Not enough leg room in the back if 5'8'' +.

Haylock Pathfinder — Power is very limited especially uphill, Build quality is good for it's age started squeeking the last year or so, Very reliable has never had a major breakdown, handles exceptionally well on gravel and sand, Can be difficult to park due to the spare wheel being on the back, Excellent on fuel seems to run on the smell of an oily rag, lacks in styling being rather square and boxy. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) |

I Love This Truck! — I just got this truck and I have had to replace the starter and the battery. It has 204K miles and runs great. There are some minor things needing repairs, but normal for the age amd milage. Owner for 0 years, 2 months Miles Driven per Year:16,000 |
