1991 Nissan Maxima

The 1991 Nissan Maxima saw very few changes for the model year, which were limited to cosmetic enhancements like redesigned side mirrors and a new color of interior cloth.
The 1991 Nissan Maxima came in two trims: the GXE and the sportier SE. The SE was available with a five-speed manual or automatic transmission, and the GXE was available only with the four-speed manual.
Both shared a 3.0-liter, 160-horsepower V6. The fuel economy is about 19/26 mpg.
Drivers like their 1991 Maximas for a number of reasons, including the comfortable, well-appointed interior; the powerful engine, and the car's solid reputation for reliability. Some drivers find the sound system to be subpar.
