ProsOverall performance and enjoyment. ConsLack of mechanical skills and lack of money.

It's The Best, More Or Less. — Performance - braking and suspension are that of a TT, which is incredible for a stock car, especially for the early 90s. With race pads and coilovers, i'd say it's track ready! As for acceleration/speed, the NA is nice, but the TT is where the real power and its potential are. I plan on a TT swap. Build quality - as long as they're maintained properly with the proper Nissan (or reliable performance aftermarket) parts, they're solid. If NOT, then not so much. Treat her right and she'll return the favor. Don't cheap out. You can buy the car for cheap, but maintaining the car is far from it. "Cheap, Fast, Reliable - You can only pick two." Appearance, BEAUTIFUL! Would be that much better with a '99 model front end, taillights, and a 90-93 TT spoiler. Fun factor - Definitely a fun car to drive. Hard to work on, but worth it when you're done. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

ProsStyling - Way cooler than the 350. ConsTurbo has questionable reliability

Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo — Good Acceleration. Excellent Appearance. Rarity. No major squeaks/rattles. Solidly built car. Def. a car that I'd buy again someday. It does require more maintenace than something like a Honda S2000 or Toyota MR2 (non-turbo) but it can be just as much fun as either. The car looks great with very modest customization. I suggest pearl white with T-Tops and leather interior. |

ProsDesign ConsScreams for more Power

Naturally Aspirated V-6 That Makes You Smile — My first car. I found this in search of a manual, rear-wheel drive V-6 beauty. Quick for what it was, with acceleration at a mild 6.5 seconds for 0-60mph. Motor screams all the way to 7000rpms, along with the passengers. Not awe inspiring in performance, leaving a lot to be desired compared to the Twin Turbo variant, yet it is definitely comparable to other performance cars. Leather interior and power everything (except seats) makes it a very luxurious car as well. Same timeless design that made it to the top of both the top 100 coolest cars, and the top 25 most beautiful car. |

ProsFast, fun, and unique. You do not see many on the road which gives it some rarity. Has power windows, cruise control, and and digital auto climate control on most models. Also has T-tops for convertible like driving while looking like a hardtop with the tops on. Also runs DOHC V6 with Coil on plug ignition. ConsParts can be hard to find and fairly expensive. Almost impossible to work on yourself without a heavy amount of automotive knowledge.

Hard To Find And Fun To Drive. — A fun car to drive on a daily basis. The engine is built solid and you will get about 250k miles without a rebuild being required. It handles very well in corners and with the quick ratio gearing is great for auto-cross racing. The car is built as a luxury performance car so its weight is a little high. This tends to degrade its straight line acceleration but it remains fairly quick. The N/A model is the best model for daily driving. |

Worth Every Penny — Decent speed for a 3600 lb car. Good braking. Exotic looks. Expensive maintenance. A joy to drive! My girl sure does look good in it!Gas mileage sucks for a small V6 also. Gets tons of looks while driving around town. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

ProsThe looks. ConsEngine bay work.

A Must Have Classic. — I love the looks, it is so exotic. The car turns many heads on it's styling. The performance really needs some work, it's kinda why they made a twin turbo. The car's 4000 pound weight is too heavy for it's 3 liter V6. At least it makes about 220 horse power. Any type of engine work on the car is tough since the engine bay is a tight fit for all of it's mechanics. I had to replace the alternator and it was a 4 hour job. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Prossmall, quick, comfy, handled mint, and girls loved it, that always helps... Consexpensive to fix, even the brakes you needed a special lathe that attached directly to the wheel hub to resurface the rotors. LAME.

Gutsy — Well for lack of a better picture because my old hard drive broke this is the back of her along with my mustang. I loved this car. It was lightning fast, little 2 seater, that put you back in your seat and i wish i would have never sold her. It seemed like a good idea at the time because i rarely ever took her out. She gathered alot of dust and boy when i did drive her it was always a good time... Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

All Around Awesome Car — I had this car for about a year back when i was a senior in high school. i bought it with the intention of modifying it. I had no idea it would lead to a RB25 (single turbo skyline motor) swap. I put everything I had into this car and it was amazing. unfortunately after the swap it was not a daily driver and i didnt have enough for a second car. overall I would strongly recommend this car to anyone, especially when its powered by a RB motor ;) |

WOW is all that I can say apart from when it rains then all I have to say is EEEEEW!! I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a bit of fun to drive on a Sunday afternoon. |

It Is A Fun Car To Drive Around! — I liked the power and the overall handling is great. The car doesn't sway, dip or anything strange in the corners. I had the suspsension replaced wehn I bought it, the car drives like new. The interior is immaculate, and I replaced the rear wing because it was falling apart. This is pretty common with these vehicles. The car has not been in an accident or had any body work other than stuff I replaced to bring it back to show room condition. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
