Strong Truck — This truck has a 5.0L that wont quit. It has 234000+ miles and acts as though it will run for another 234000.

Pros

The Ford F150 is one of the best built, toughest trucks on the road.  91 was a good year but the early trucks - like most in that year did not have a whole bunch of HP.  Running gear was strong.  Sorry Chevy folks but nothing comes close to a F150, 250 or 350.  And Dodge.......well what can you say.  It'll just be a Dogdge .  But hey they are all Americas finest and again sorry to foreign car makers.  You can try to make a truck but you still cant beat those trucks. :)

Cons

Not too much on Cons.  I would say not the best gas mileage.  Little rough riding but hey it is a truck (and early model at that - not like the newest of truck comfort) and its not a Cadillac .  it is tricky to get into and out of 4 low.  More so going out.  Almost need to roll in revers a few feet.  REMEMBER going into low range you have to pull shift lever over to the left to get past the gate.  Mine had manual locking hubs, so that was a bit of a pain to have to get out and  lock in.  AND most importantly! you can NOT forget to have those hubs locked in because if you shift into 4 WD and forget that -  you can destroy parts!

One Of The Brst Trucks On The Road From That Model Year — I loved that it was built FORD tough! I felt most comfortable in the winter. Go out in coldest of days in ice and snow turn the key and it would fire right up. Warm to temp by the end of the street. Shift into 4 WD with ease (at speed even). In 4 low the thing was a beast. would pull a freight train and climb even the steepest hills without even a slip or grunt. I would say, (and I have been in a few). The powertrain would almost match a Jeep.....Almost. On a scale of 1-10 I would say a solid 9.5

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Old Gray — almost 600,000 miles on it and still goin strong. My dad bought it back in 99 and its been around ever since. its not the most powerful thing on the road nor the best handling but is light on its feet and fun to drive

Pros

its a manual truck.

Cons

paying for the gas

Good All Around Truck. — -pretty good acceleration, breaking rocks, handling is good. -Just you basic maintance and aftermarket speakers. -interior is mint and exterior is pretty nice with a little rust on wheel wells. -gas mileage sucks, maintenace is simple, -the truck is a blast to drive. its a fun 5 speed to beat on. and really good at pulling trailers.

Pros

Cons

gas millage

B — I love my F-150 jumps right off the line for fast acceleration when you need to, blow some one of the line, its got a 5.8 liter v-8 with 210 hp and 325 foot pounds of torque, only bad part is the gas mileage but it makes up for int in power

Great Truck, Wish I Had Gone With The 4x4 Version — Good solid frame, starting to show the typical wheel well rust. Still that classic square body, looks as tough as it is. Great pickup off the line.
