Beautiful But Unrelaible — This car was a beauty to drive but when the mileage hit 70K all hell broke loose. There wasn't anything that didn't need replacing and anything that could go wrong did. I was really sad to part with it though but the whole ront end was shot and my mechanic wouldn't let me drive it on the freeway. It must not have put me off Audis though as I have one now. |

Prosfun to drive, rare, good gas mileage Consexpensive to fix

My First Child — I LOVE THIS CAR!! It's had some electrical issues, which is hard and expensive to fix because of it's rarity. But it handles better than any car I have ever driven (including some higher end sports cars). It has the 5 cyl 20 valve engine that most people put into their cars, and is easy to turbo and get more power. Stock, it's not a super fast car, it's more for handling. Anyways, I've been in love with this car for almost 10 years and I think I'd rather sell my husband. |

ProsUNstoppable in the snow Consnickel and dime you to the poorhouse

Beast In The Snow, Better Than Most Overall — Not the most reliable car, but not too bad for one that's 18 years old with almost 200K on the clock. Little stuff breaks here and there and can be pricey to fix, but I'm still on the original engine, transmission AND CLUTCH. For thos of you who drive stick, you know that's pretty damn good to have almost 200K on the factory clutch. Performace is solid, 160ish hp on a 3100lb car, not gonna win any drag races, but cornering is decent, especially for a car this old. It helps that it's the 20v Quattro model, which has upgraded suspension, transmission, and wheels/tires. Winter performance is very impressive. 12-18" of snow doesn't stop this car! Even with half-worn all-season tires, I had no problem driving through a few snowstorms, passing SUVs and semis with confidence. Definitely would make a perfect winter car for handling, but not so much for reliability. The starter went out on me in the middle of the winter and then the radiator had problems. |

A Daily Driver Or A Monstrous Project Car? Your Call. — This car suffers an odd fate: A wonderful and powerful 2.3l five-cylinder with an ahead-of-its-time 170 horsepower coupled with a very bland and boring exterior. The five cylinder, all wheel drive portion of the vehicle more than made up for its poor exterior designs, though. With all the gauges that any driver could want inside, and an almost entirely leather interior, even though the car approaches two decades old, it still feels like brand-new luxury. The car had phenomenal handling and acceleration for its era and size, making it quite the fun driver. I would seriously recommend this car as either a daily driver or a potentially murderous project car. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Good Quality Car, Fun. — All wheel drive, fantastic handling, no body roll due to the suspension, five cylinder n/a, the sound is unlike anything you've ever heard. Performance from the engine is alright, it needs a turbo. The car is A LOT of fun. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Prospower and comfort Consakward arrangement of engine components. soft suspension system

A Treat To Drive — overall, the audi 90 2.2e is an impressive family car. the engine is responsive, agile and powerful. the drive is further improved by the short distance between gearshifts. cabin space is well arranged and broad enough to give occupants a comfortable ride no matter the distance travelled. the standard suspension system proves to be too soft and the consequent roll during cornering affects stability and control. changing the air filter is a challenge! Owner for 3 years, 3 months Miles Driven per Year:6,000 |
