ProsAbsolute beast Conslil on the heavy side for the breaks installed
145
Crankenstien A.k.a. Boost (thx Jared) — This is my favorite car that i have owned for pure driving experience, has great power with the stock 7mgte, but due to the infamous head gasket problems i blew the motor and got a 1jzgte installed with the extra power its even funner to drive. It accelerates like a beast once you hit boost, braking seems a bit sketchy but i think its because its the first car I've owned over 3000pounds, even so its easy to throw around corners even with the weight thanks to TEMS. The build quality seems awesome there's almost no rust the interior is still immaculate and this is a 21 year old car! the interior isn't sexy but its functional and comfortable and can handle abuse. The exterior at first glance wasn't anything special but as i started doing body work and looking at the car more i realized it has a very ominous presence and at times looks very feminine with the curves down the side but still masculine and sometimes scary from the strong boxy front. The gas millage is great if you don't hit boost often in the low gears, parts are cheap unless your doing something one off. I cant get over how fun this car is to drive if you ever get a chance take one for a spin, you'll thank yourself. |

Prosplus side: Fun, goodlooking, stable FR car with lots of potential Consdown side: Older, more maintanence, lacks power without mods

N/a Mk3 Supra Review — Its a fun car, lacks the power of newer cars because it isn't the turbo model but hopefully once I finish my engine swap it won't have that problem anymore >:D. Though its pretty quick once its already rolling i.e. on the highway, its 23 years old and can keep up with RX-8's, 350Z's and most Mustangs (as long as there are not heavily modded). Its very stable feeling compared to other cars I've driven, its easy to feel when the limits of the car are being reached, won't surprise you in the middle of a corner unless your doing something rediculous lol. The body style looks great I constintly recieved compliments about the car until I got some body damage, the interior looks like an 80's car :P but its not unbearable and it fits with the exteriors appearance. They are old cars though so as with any older car there is going to be repairs and maintanence that must be done (METAL HEADGASKET AND APR STUDS lol), so if you want something that you can just take out run hard and not really worry about this might not be the right choice, unless you plan to refurbish the car from the start. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

ProsCool looking car; fast without being overpriced ConsLeaking oil; leaking roof

Supra Needs Better Gaskets! — Owned an 88 Supra with Targa top from new until 10 years old. Sold it with 88K miles. Not a bad car, except twice I had to change the header gasket (a $2200 job each time) due to oil leaks. I finally gave up on the car when the roof gaskets would not allow the roof to seal properly and I had a wet lap everytime it rained. Easy to drive and maintain otherwise. |

Prosfast, somewhat good on gas, comfortable seats, loud exhaust, turns heads Consnon-turbo :-( , not low enough, needs some bodywork, needs rims

Great Car — fairly fast, good handling, paint looks great, great car to drive, easy to drive, targa top = awesomeness, smooth running engine, lots of performance and appearance upgrades are available, its a solid car, not much roll when taking corners at high speeds |

ProsTurbocharged inline six ConsThe Tail lights

Supra — Performance- the bottom end on these cars are virtually bullet proof. You can do many bolt on upgrades more than doubling the stock horsepower and the internals will take it. Build Quality- the car is built solid. ive done minor repairs to the car besides its regular maintenance. the car is still running like new with 206,000 miles on it. Appearance- the car has an aerodynamic and sleek look. i really dont like the taillights on the car but besides that the car is awesome. Overall i love the car and it is very fun to drive. |

ProsBuy it for its handling, power, and curb appeal. The Supra has the whole package. ConsAvoid this car if you are an idiot.

Hands Down, The Best Car I've Ever Had The Pleasure Of Owning — I bought it knowing full well that it likely had the notorious blown head gasket. Sure enough, it was well on its way when I got the car. I wasn't too concerned about that since I was planning on a rebuild anyway. I chose this specific one because it was for sale by the original purchaser. That's right, this baby is 23 years old, and I'm the second owner. It also had a mere 119 000 kms on it when I picked it up for a sum so small, it would make your head spin. |

ProsVery fun, stylish ConsNon turbo is a bit of a snail after about 4,000 rpm, kinda soft

Get One As A Toy! — Fun car, gets a lot of looks, especially with the roof off. Could use a turbo, but still has enough get up and go. May need stiffer suspension from stock, at higher speeds it tends to roll a bit. Excellent as a toy lol Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

This Car Is Awesome! I Plan On Keeping It For As Long As I Can. — This is an awesome car! I love it! i got it for a birthday gift and i drive it all the time. Its in great shape for a 22 year old car. It has 140k miles on it but it still runs great. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Prosquick, cheap, reliable, fun, very stylish for even standards now Conshard to find parts for, and the big doors can be inconvinece at parking lot
35
Best Of Both Worlds — parts are becoming rare, but its well worth the effort to find them performance is even impressive compared to cars today apperance is a lil dated compared to new cars but it still retains that aggressive look that keeps it up to date with todays cars mpg is good if u look at what it weighs and the hp, 22mpg daily. could prob get better but that would ruin the fun :P very fun car to drive, 5 spd and the sound of a inline6, the suspenson switch in teh center of the consol just adds to the nastagia u get when ur on those back roads :) Primary Use: Commuting to work |
