I Would Say That It Is Somewhat Stylish, Fun, Practical, Dependabe, And Affordable. — It is versitile. There is a lot in a small package. Handles well and is fun to drive. It is the kind of vehicle that one looks forward to going somewhere in. It is the old "boxy" style that is still "cute".

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

You need things moved from point A to Point B it will do it. Or you just want a fun 2wd or 4wd to tool around in, this is it.

Cons

tempermental...be smart around it or have a reliable mechanic to take it to if needed

I Love My Truck! — This truck has never let me down. Let others down, but thats what happens when morons work on these trucks. Its got a lot of low end power, good torque. Its gets like 15 mpg in the city so its a trade really. It hauls everything I need to haul without breaking a sweat or sacraficing freeway speed. I think these 720's are the sexiest truck nissan has ever let out. The best thing about them is there is so much you can do to them in the performance sense

Pros

The power this thing packs for it's size is amazing

Cons

Limited engine room makes it hard to work and add new toys.

Great Car Many Possibilities And Many Good Outcomes. — It's a great little truck if you take care of it. It's tough and fast if you want it to be. Has all the power needed to haul bout anything. it's fair for gas millage and it up keep isn't much. All in all i love this truck and I wouldn't get rid of it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

good gas mileage and it's a truck to haul stuff around with

Cons

body isn't in perfect shape, they tend to rust easily

Great Just For A Small Truck, Not Exactly A Show Quality Vehicle — gets great gas mileage and has no problems pulling small to medium trailers, engine is bullet proof, great acceleration for being a 2.4L and a 5 speed manual, locking differential is great when traction is low, body needs alot of work on the bed and fenders but the cab is in great shape

Pros

an 86' with 615,000 miles on the engine never being replaced or rebuilt?!

Cons

NO CUP HOLDERS. Sorry Sally. But this one's not for you and your latte.

You Can't Kill It!!! — This truck is 25 years old and yet still economical, mechanically simple, and a lot of fun to drive. They don't make anything like this anymore. The parts are getting harder to find do to it's age but the repairs are still cheaper than with any Ford Chevy or Dodge. Even the newer Nissan cars and trucks can't live up to the 720. Most people look at a 720 and think it's just another old raged out truck but those that own them see a Classic peace of history. Nissan made the 720 from 1980-1986 and most of those trucks are still running today with an average of 200,000+ miles. My last 720 was an 86' with 615,000 miles and no the engine was never replaced or rebuilt.

Pros

Reliable little pickup. 4 cylinder manual 5-speed.

Cons

Terrible in snow--way too light. Did a 360 driving on ice packed roads driving to Kirksville, MO.

Good Starter Vehicle — I bought this truck at a used car dealership in Raytown, MO. Had a little dent in the driver's door. It was a good introduction to how well-made Nissans are. Wish they were still called Datsuns. That was a cool name.
