Cons

Not so great in rain

Great And Fun Car — I love having this car. Wanted sence high school, and nw finally have it. It needs alot of work but being a mechanic this is not a problem. My fiance like helping me and driving the camaro special on sunny days withthe t-tops out

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Perfection — This is the best car to own ever. The 305 has plenty of power to blow away your ricer honda's with their fancy stickers and spoilers. Ive owned it for a year, put 20,000km on it. Has not needed a single repair. Its now at 221,000km. VERY reliable car. The interior is simple, i like it, i find it comfortable and pretty roomy, the exterior styling is just killer. I love driving by big windows just to see how cool i look drivin it. Gas mileage isnt the greatest ~20mpg city, ~30mpg highway with the 305 V8. bought it for $1500. wouldnt trade it for anything in the world.

Cool Different Car — Rare car, needs to be restored, but worth restoring! It has the 350 tpi conversion, so makes it even more fun and different. Can't wait to be able to get started onit, time and money- never enough of either! Will updated as it progresses!

Pros

Awesome looks, a lot of torque.

Cons

Old, terrible in rain or snow.

45

85' Camaroz28 T-tops — Acceleration is great it has a lot of torque, but the HP is low due to it coming with T-Tops. Very strong build, I have gotten about 5 foot of air at 65 mph. Although it sounded good at the time, I regret it now and hope nothing was damaged. Amazing looks Interior is just as great. Gas is hard on me, but if you have a job at all this wouldn't be a problem. I'd say pretty high maintnence because of the age, but mine hasnt needed much besides oil changes. =) Amazingly fun car to drive!

Cons

Gas Guzzler, Shape

Sexyyyy — Gas guzzler for sure, even for its age the car still pulls its weight, and the 5.0l v8 has plenty of life left, even with 270k on it. The interior is in great shape, minus the few odds and ends that need repair, but inside the car definately doesn't show its age.

Alot Of Fun! — It seems like your doing 40 when your doing 80mph.The car starts very easy and handles well on the turns. It has good power and is very dependable. The interior is in fairly good shape. The wheels are 16 inch instead of 15 inch like alot of them.

She's A One Of A Kind Hot Rod Camaro — This is my 85 Z28. It has a 400 small block chevy with a T56 Borg-Warner 6 speed, Eaton Posi, and 3.73 gears. Exterior - Custom SS Hood, 5" rear spoiler, Billet grill, EnergySuspension bushing kit, Hypercoil lowering springs, Lakewood lift bars, and 17 x 8 Dante wheels on BfGoodrich KDWS Tires. Paint is Dupont QuickSilver with YearOne clearcote. Interior - New carpet, headliner and sun visors from YearOne. T56 Hurst Shifter ball from Hawks Third Gen. I've owed her since my senior year of high school and she didn't always look this way. I'm the 2nd owner of this Z28. I finished up most of the work in late 2006. She turns heads everywhere I go and the sound of the custom made duel exhaust tells everyone she's mean. Performance wise I'm not gonna to get too detailed on but she handles curves like a slot car and has more than enough Torque and HP to put ricers in their place.... Behind her!!!

"the Fast And Furious" — This is a "Wow" Car when it comes to performance. It has been so well maintained that it feels like its a brand new car. No repairs or rattles needed. The electric blue paint is sleek and fits that Iroc image of being A sporty, muscle, car. It is a great deal at $6,500.00, a complete maintenance history included. Not only would this be a fun car to drive, but would surely boost your popularity.

Camaro Is The Best. Period — For an 1985, it is in perfect condition. Great acceleration. Only second owner. Very clean. No rust or chips on the paint. Custom exhaust and sound system. Hoping to swap to a 350 or higher. The best car I have ever owned.
