great truck to own, rarely have problems but when i do its easy to fix. this truck gets me were i need to go without stress and i know that if i wreck im not driving a fiberglass truck but im driving a metal TANK.Apr 17, 2012

great truck just needs tires and lockers. suspension is a little rough. the straight six and the four speed transmission are a great combination for offroad use. i can lock it in four low put it in granny first and let it crawl on its own.Jan 26, 2011

Ya it needs some work but hey i got it for free so im not complaining! I picked it up at the salvage yard with a bad 302. With the help of my awesome father i put a modified a 351w out of a '90 f-250 and dropped in her and found a 5 speed zf tranny out of a '92 f-250 to put behind it. Combined with the 3.08 diffs she'll creap in first gear at about 10mph and do about 90 in fifth. This thing is awesome!!!Jan 23, 2011

FREAKIN TANK, never had a problem with this truck for as long as i drove it, i drove it into trees, ditches, hole, swamps, and accidently backed it over my four wheeler lol, but it took the beating and kept on goin, Hummer vs. Bronco= Bronco no doubtOct 29, 2010

Big, expensive to run, very solid. I only owned this for about 6 months, during that time I spend over $1000 fixing the steering. By that time I was broke and had to sell it. Luckily I still had my trusty Volvo.Jul 25, 2010

my favorate truck, it goes any were and in style. there gettin rare and every one looks when you cruse down the street with the top off. (i had a hottie in a H2 checkin me out) lol. only bad thing is the gas milage if you got a 3 speed, but its almost indistructable. but with a 302 and a AOD its not bad on gas for a 26 year old truck! Performance- Beats Mustang GT's to 50 all day long Build Quality- It's and Old Ford of course it's stil running strong Appearance- Primer paint on the outside, New outdoor carpet on the inside Cost of Ownership- 4 MPG you can do the math Fun Factor- This thing is a blast to drive. my truck has one of the vest built engines in it it has a edelbrock top end package, new cam. timing set, heads, manifold and a edelbrock offroading carb, its a blast on and off road, its one of the baddest trucks i no of Dec 13, 2008

I have driven a 1988 ford bronco II with an auto tranny and fuel injection. I now own a 1984 Ford Bronco II with a 2.8 V6 and a carbuerator. I have to say that the 84 is the best vehicle i have ever driven the four wheel drive is exquisite and the turning radius is outstanding. I have never driven such a versitile vehicle before. I can take it anywhere i want and never get stuck. It is an amazing vehicle and i love it.May 02, 2008

my parents got this truck brand new off the lot in 84, I got to work on it in high school as a shop project, rebuilt the 300 straight six and drove it for a while, then a connecting rod gave out, went through the block and limed home on 5 cylinders. Started a drivetrain swap, put a 1990 Mustang GT motor in it and a AOD/BW 1356 transmission/transfer case combo in it. just gotta do the fuel injection wiring and electrical stuff to be finished.Dec 25, 2007
