1982 AMC Eagle Review
Unique, first crossover
Uhhh... helooo... AMC!
A Great Car Project To Put In Modern Engine And Drivetrain. — I called it "THE BEAST" It was big, bad, and ugly. 4000lbs. doesn't stop quickly compared to modern cars, especially in the snow. I haven't gotten stuck except for once when off roading in 2WD because 4WD was not working at some point. I'll get another one someday and fix it up properly. This one had a new motor, but the tranny

1982 AMC Eagle Review
Great 4WD and Handling,
Still could end up with a Eagle that wasn't well maintained, causing it to have very poor Performance.
'82 Amc Eagle Sport "official Rodeo Car" — The acceleration for my eagle is a 0-60 in about 14-15 secs and thats quite good for 4800lbs. After first repairs its really cheap. The Handling is excellent for its weight. Sure the car doesn't look for being in several winters and for being 27 years old, but it won't get stuck in anything that stays below its front bumper. Wish i had the money to completely rebuild it from the ground up. Choose it over any new light weight cars out there now. Wish it had a more powerful engine, looking better or EFI, but still an excellent car to drive.
