My 1978 Carlo - First Car — My first car. This is not a real pic of it, but mine looked much like this one. Mine was green however and needed some paint. I had the same wheels and rebuilt the car from the ground up, engine, tranny and suspension included (mechanically it was sound and hauled ass beating up on the poor good old Mustang GT 5.0 benchmarks of the day). It had the V8 with some upgrades so it was the same as an 85 Monte Carlo SS basically (but faster due to the upgrades).

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Awesome Car — It is so easy to just cruise or swap a few parts and hit the track. Always turns heads and get thumbs up everywhere I go. Hope to pass it on to my daughter someday. Bug only when I out grow the fun lol.

Rarest Montecarlo — 343hp, 4 speed saginaw transmission, t-tops, all powe kit, 0-60 in 5.7 seconds, the best thing of this car it's the aceleration, amazing driving and it's funny to smoke jerks on the road, the oly bad thing it's the fuel costs LOL

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

1978 Chevrolet Monte Carlo — My 78 monte carlo was a z34 model. It came with an aluminum trunk lid. To find a car form the 70's like that, ha good luck. Wish I still had her. It was definitaly one of my favorite cars to drive and to work on.
