1973 Volvo P1800 Review Ratings
1973 Volvo P1800 Review
To be seen
Need to carry lots of people
Art Work. — The 1800ES is a stunningly beautiful car, all the more because it is a wagon. The car is a GT, more than a sports car, but fun to drive. It is practical, but the back seat is for brief cases and pet carriers, or people who you don't like. If you think it is beautiful, you will love it. It is not a problem to get parts from Volvo or private suppliers, which, after 30 years is an important thing.
Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

replacement parts can be expensive, and rust is the kiss of death
Sleek Little Station Wagon — I have the 1800ES, the little sport wagon. Beautiful looks but probably not as practical as a 122. Modest performance, yet fun to drive. Rare- people are always asking me "What is that?" Put some prancing moose stickers on the side and pretend you're a Ferrari.
Primary Use: Commuting to work

When new a not so quick car with good looks. Acceleration could have been a lot better but was easy to improve. Bodies poorly assembled by Jensen 1961-1963 should be avoided at any cost. Unless you fi... Read More
