Pros

I love that it is a sports car, yet in nowa days it's also a luxury car for collectors.

Cons

It takes alot of maintenance to keep this car in tip-top shape.

Very Nice, Luxurious, And Sporty Car. — This car is very stylish, although it only cost around $3,000 when it first came out, if restored to original condition with all original parts this car would be worth a lot of money. I enjoy driving and riding in this car. I highly recommend this car to anyone that's a car guru, anyone looking for a stylish yet fast car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

1967 Ford Mustang Coupe, Rebuilt 302, 3spd — Performance - Old engine tech, sloppy suspension Build Quality - Good, reliable considering it is 40y+ old Appearance - One of the most beautiful cars built, but interior lacking Cost of Ownership - 3spd so best is average 20mpg, but that is going 10 under speed limit everywhere Fun Factor - Good because of the potential

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Awsome — great car, great engine, works perfectly, if you want to something new, this should be it! A great classic car, I mean, who doesn't want a real mustnag!! Great acc, few repairs, but hey, it's been there for almost 50 years now! only bad thing is that it needs loots of gas

Pros

Classic ponycar, headturning looks, engaged driving, fun to work on.

Cons

If you want luxury, fuel economy, and low maintence costs, look elsewhere.

It's A First-gen Mustang. Fantastic — By modern standards it isn't a very fast and the brakes are about as effective as sponges rubbing on the axle, but it is still wonderful. The handling feels solid and direct (no power-steering), the engine is always ready to play, and the hood stretching out in front gives an amazing sense of theater and occasion. It required lots of electrical work initially, but once everything important was replaced, it hasn't broken down since. The interior is simple, sparse, and a bit worn, of course, but there are hundreds of aftermarket parts to make things more interesting. The steering wheel is made of high quality wood (it even has finger notches!) and makes something as mundane as turning the wheel an experience of old school quality. When it comes to looks, the 67 Mustang is completely unmatched in my opinion. It manages to be elegant, muscular, and menacing at the same time. From inside the car, you get a sense of focus and occasion from the simplicity of it. This car isn't strong on gas mileage, but what do you expect from an old American V8? Between the way it feels to drive and the fact that you want to walk backwards after getting out to look at it a bit longer, this car is fantastic.

Favorite Car I've Owned — Its a old (8 year old) resto, before that she was on blocks in a field on a farm. She was born on May 16, 1967 in the Metuchen, NJ Plant. She rolled off the line as a Raven Black/Red crinkle vinyl standard interior 289 with 2 barrel carb and C4 auto. When she was saved from the field she had a 302 with toploader 4 speed, she has since recieved a heart transplant to a 351 windsor with a Holley carb, 1968 mustang toploader 4 speed, Ford 9" rear with 3:55 gears, hedman full length headers, dual chamber flowmasters, She was repainted 8 years ago Raven Black with alot of Red, Blue, and Silver metal flake, which makes the color change from black to navy blue to plum purple depending on how the light hits it.

Breathtaking — Performance: The Accelerstion is amazing thanks to the supercharger and aftermarket gotech fuel management system. Build Quality: Perfect, no repairs, EVER. Appearance: Electric Metallic Blue with pearl white racing stripes. Cost Of Ownership: More than i have..... Fun Factor 20/10. The most awesome feeling to stomp on the gas and destroy the rubber.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Eleanor... Maybe, Muscle Car... Definately. — This vehicle started life as a regular 1967 Mustang fastback with a 289. It came into the shop as a Eleanor recreation. The old 289 and automatic transmission had been removed and in its place was a 429 mated to a Tremec 5 spd transmission. At idle this car was loud enough to shake the pictures off the wall in our waiting room. It had the body kit and pepper gray paint from the movie... it was almost identical to the car in the movie. The owner of this monster had installed a custom racing suspension kit, Willwood brakes, a custom built 9in out back and various other doodads including a reverse camera. This car could have been built alot better though if it had been done by someone who knew what they were doing. We had to repair alot of the mistakes that had been made during assembly.

Love It, Its A American Classic. — Body style is awesome, four speed is way better than automatic. They did a great job back in '66 with the body style. The 289ci is very reliable. The coupe is got no blind spots compared to the fastback. Little safety features like the door handle is also a cushion for side impact, long front. Fun car to drive.
