I purchased the vehicle online. Everything went reasonably smooth. Problem is I haven’t received the vehicle yet. Apparently they haven’t received the payment from the finance company yet which is holding up the delivery.

I contacted the dealer about a vehicle that had been on their lot for a while. Got an immediate response with some videos (great!), but then they went quiet for a couple days. Then came back and said "we accept your offer but we have to do this TODAY." Ok, so far. I had some followup questions about taxes and logistics that were communicated by email even though I requested a phone call. Then all of a sudden there was another buyer in the mix -- "and he is paying more than you, so I think they're going to sell it to them." Then about 20min later, "they sold it to the other guy." Really disappointing experience. I thought we had a deal -- I live in TX and they were trying to charge me Florida taxes and I needed to arrange for shipping. Simple questions/logistics that should have been easily handled. 3 days later, car is still showing up on website and CarGurus app. The sales guy I was working with said "the other guy just put a deposit." Lame.
